i only had the bike for 2 weeks and it just died on me one ride about 2 hours into it. i thought it was out of gas but it wasnt. turns out the fuel pump fuse was blown. any reason that would cause that. i replaced it and it has been going good for 2 days now. but it feels kind of choppy when ridding. i have a appointment at dealer on friday. any one else have issues like this |

Mine['09 XB9SX] Blew it's third one today, three blocks from the spot it blew the 2nd time. All 3 times the temp. was in the 80s[hot for the PNW coast] and the fuel level was low. It went in to my servicing dealer a couple weeks ago, but they couldn't find a problem. |

I hope this isn't something that is common. I'm about to pull the trigger on an '09. |

So it would be good to keep a few spare fuses on-hand. Thanks for the heads up! |

theslacker, test drive it and you will fall in love. dont let small things like the fuse stop you. its covered in the warranty for 24 months if its anything major. the percentage of the issues on this site for the xb9sx or any other bike is so small compared to the number of bikes on the road. everything out there has issues its just you see them here cause we help each other out with them. what im trying to say is there are way more pluses to the bad. and the bad things are small. |
