Court - they're NOT HIDING it - they just DON'T KNOW - and that's why they have no answers. |

You know you're screwed, as a liberal, when CNN takes a crap on you. |

Oh it's CNN allright... about half way through the article, there is a little shot about how, while the Obama administration has delivered none of the promises it made about openness and transparency, that its OK because the "last 8 years" were so bad. |

On a side note, I liked the results from the survey on the page. When do you believe you will drive an electric vehicle such as the GM Volt? -As soon as they're available 6% -In the next 5 years 22% -Sometime in the future 41% -Never 32% |

I had a transparent windshield on my XT, but I replaced it with a dark smoke windshield from Zero Gravity. I can still see through it, so I guess it's still transparent; but it sure looks one hell of a lot better. |

>>>I can still see through it Your smoked windscreen is FAR more transparent than the current administration. |

Q: How do you know when a politician is lying? A: His lips are moving. This is true for all politicians, whether they're Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Greens, Whigs or Anarchists. Don't re-elect anybody. Ever. |

Crusty hit the nail on the head. We need to step a bit outside our knee-jerk reactions in order to SOLVE our problems - and I know that Crusty and I tend to be on the opposite sides of the political "aisle" but if ANYTHING of lasting import is to be accomplished, we MUST START THINKING again. |

I think it's funny that we expect the Gov't to be responsible and keep track of the TARP funds etc to make sure they are "invested/spent" wisely. Why not start with the people that get welfare checks? EVERY MONTH! How much $ is given to all of the people on public assistance without asking them where and how it's spent? They get food stamps. Fine. That keeps them from being malnourished, good. Why is it that you don't see many skinny people on welfare? I don't think they should be allowed to buy steaks with them, or cigarettes, or booze. The govt makes it too easy/comfortable to stay on the public dole. Give them the bare necessities for life. When they feel the pinch, they will get off their lazy butts and get a job. When they get stuff for free, they don't take care of it. When they have to work to earn the $ to buy it, it gets better care because of their own personal sweat equity. Mind you, there are real people that have real disabilities. These people I have no problem supporting. How about all the people that are on "disability" that really aren't disabled? Come on we all know of one or 2,...at minimum. I have a neighbor that "has a bad back". Doesn't stop him from push mowing his grass or riding his 4 wheeler/ATV thru the woods on a regular basis though.... I wish we wouldn't have bailed out the banks with the TARP program. Business is business. The good succeed, the bad fail and close. You bought a house you couldn't afford and can't make the payments, sucks to be you. Out to the curb. Guess you will have to rent or move back in with "mommy", which is where you were before you bought the big, expensive house, on the nice side of town, with the new cars/trucks in the driveway, that have loans on them.... Personal responsibility, seems to be a thing of the past. Sad. I guess I said all that to say this, if we can't live within our means, why do we expect the Gov't to? Sorry about the vent....
