Loki - I actually bought a Yuasa, which seemed to have a problem, so I thought I would buy the right one before I started to look for a charging problem. So I bought the Blast type kit, which the dealer had - although it seems to be incomplete. So with the Yuasa battery, which I had checked and it is ok, I am looking for an electrical problem. |

I've heard that the new H-D/Buell batteries are all dry cells. Can anyone verify or confirm that? |

The latest generation of battery from HD is known as AGM or absorbed glass matt , probably the toughest battery HD has sold , I'm not yet convinced that they are the best they have ever sold but so far they do look pretty good compared to other "latest greatest" batteries HD has offered in the last 5 years. Coming from a guy who has filled , charged , tested , installed , thrown away , well over a thousand batteries in this life time. |

Do you guys know anything about the Buell pro series race kit? P/N: 82001-99YA. It is a header, muffler, air cleaner and a module. Just got a 2000 M2. If it has a carb, what does the module do? Adjust ignition? Appreciate the info. Chris |

Can anyone direct me to the Buell information sheet about converting the S1 to the Blast battery? I can't seem to find the information anywhere. I also think the kit I bought is incomplete. Can someone direct me to a place to buy a load tester with an induction pickup? None of the local auto parts stores had ever heard of such a thing. Thank you, A frustrated Rocky |

I need some advice! I just bought a 99 M2, Thunderstorm heads, Vance and Hines pipe. The pipe is the question. I have read the forum on the problems with the pipe and vibrations. The rear can bracket is broken. Is there a better way to mount the rear of the pipe. The old bracket has been welded before. The front mounting point stops movement front to back, the rear should just be for up and down movement? Why not a rubber exhaust hanger? This would stop all tension between the two mounting points. The front mounting point bolt does not look stock, no rubber washer, ect. Please point me in the right direction. I will not take the bike back to my scottsdale Harley Dealer, they put a new belt on my bike and I think they broke the bracket. |

CLIFF, I have a V&H pipe on my '95 S2, and have added a rubber bracket from a honda shadow. As for shops in the area, I can relate, I have had nothing but problems from both The Scottsdale and the Chandler HD/Buell dealerships. I take my bike to Chandler Custom Cycles on Arizona Ave just south of Elliot in Chandler. They do good work and work on lots of Buells. Good luck |

Pictures will be up soon in the gallery section at DCBRAG In the meantime, enjoy some FUSA Daytona pics by clicking HERE Thanks to Scott, Dan, Mike, Jim D., LaFayette, Daytona Dan, Dawg, Mark (Great Smoothies!!!) the Buell race teams (Hoban, Hal's, Tilley, Smith Bros., etc), Erik Buell, Henry Duga and everybody else whose name I can't remember right now and hung out with. Anonymous - Thank you, but the file will not open. The computer tells me there is an error opening the document and that it can not repair it. Any chance you want to send it again? Jim - I answered you email, and I think I've answered at least one of those questions in the past. Besides: I just kind of made up all of that as I went along - with some help from Peter and Aerocharger, I have a whole 20 credits of community college and 4 years tinkering as my mechanical credentials, and 2 out of 3 of my Buells have mechanical problems right now - although I don't think any of the problems were caused by my work. I'll help you as much as I can, but you should ask yourself if you really want my help! |

Hello again everyone, I know it has been months since I last posted but alot has happened and I am just recently feeling normal again. My wife of almost 19 years died last July and really left me at loose ends. If it wasn't for my kids and friends and family I don't really know what would have become of me. I just started riding again a few months ago. The bike helped heal my soul as the pain receded. I think of my wife every day, I cherish the years we shared and the two wonderful children we had. I am trying to get back to normal, hence I am now getting back to checking the bbs and trying to get in touch with old friends. Any one in the Tucson area let me know, I need to ride! E-mail address is artfulbuell@earthlink.net. Ride fast, never look back! |

Well here are some picts of my new baby after she has been cleaned up a little: She really runs great! Now all I need is some temps above freezing! When I test rode her on Saturday she surprised me by pulling a power wheelie in 2nd! Shane and Frank built one really nice running S2T! Neil S. |

Darn!! it's been a long time since I last posted. Started doin a lot of dirt bike riding last year (didn't realize how out of shape I was). Now spring is just around the corner and I realize that Big Bird ( my yellow S3-T )needs her rocker gaskets replaced. I just got a set of the latest cometic metal and rubber gaskets. I'm impressed, These look like they should last a long time. Question #1 does anyone out there use any sealant of any sort or do you just use them as is? Question #2 how long will they last. Looking forward to ride again. Gonna hit the dragon sometime in June. Later, Brian |
