It looks like it is time to sell my 1125R race bike. Here are the specs. 2008 1125r clean title 1500 street miles and 200 race miles Buell chain drive conversion Buell race exhaust Buell race ECM Buell Steering Damper Airtech fairing Race Tech rear shock Race Tech fork springs Buell race brake linings K and N filter Spares: Gearing 45, 46, 47 rear sprockets EBC race brake pads new in box Front brake rotor new New oil filters Controls Most of the street stuff I am sure there is stuff I am missing. I currently have about 17k invested in this bike; asking 12k OBO. The bike will be at the AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days last weekend in one race and finish first. If you would like to see picks click on the following link. http://picasaweb.google.com/jimmy.pooler/Buell# I am open to the possiblity of parting the bike out but first I would like to sell the base bike with out the Buell race exhaust, ECM and swing arm. The bike with everything else I would sell for 8k. Thanks, Jim |

PM sent. Congrats on the MTT win on Sunday. I think I got 8th in that race on an xb12. I was pitted next to Flis and he came in from the race with his jaw on the ground over how fast the 1125 was. Kurt |

They don't have an 1125 selection in their lists? Dumb ebay. You have to pick 'other'. Good luck with the auction. Looks like she'd be fun. |

I agree with Kurt, I was also in the race. You were fast! Good to hear Flis cry a little. I placed right behind Kurt. Chris |

I was surprised no bids happened at the end. Snap it up as low as possible cause it didn't appear there was a reserve. Unless that notice doesn't show till after the first bid? Dunno, I don't do ebay. |

I hear ya Wes. Ugh, this thing still for sale? I was hoping it was gone so I wouldn't have to agonize over the decision any more. (Message edited by knickers on August 07, 2009) |

Nope. I finally got the nerve & the $ up, but Jim had it sold already. That'll teach me to be tentative. |

Saw your answer died with many other posts in the great crash. It was tempting. Would have had to learn where the track are down in FL to open her up if I'd gotten it. I know you were deciding whether or not to keep racing the xb or jump to an 1125. Bumpus's fly in deal may interest you. All of Ft bstrd's strings on it everywhere were lost in the crash as well i think. |
