Rubberdown, I'll be camping at VIR all weekend, leaving work early Friday in hopes of getting my accommodations set up before nightfall and then it'll be PARTYTIME! Can't wait to see the 'addition'. Jose from the old DC BRAG Group will be at VIR as well. Anybody who will listen, So, yeah, I'm thinking about going to New Jersey for the last race of the season. Since it is unlikely that the races at VIR will determine who will take the Daytona Sportbike championship I'd kinda like to be present for the culmination of Buell's most prolific race season thus far, plus somebody's been saying it's not to be missed. It's only 481 miles from my house, so it's an easy days ride. I'm thinking of taking Friday off and with that weekend being Labor Day weekend I would travel back on Monday. Anyone interested in tagging along? I'm mainly looking for company and someone to split the cost of the hotel room with. The first one I checked out was $160.00 a night with the advanced purchase rate. WAY too rich for my blood. When I get time (probably after VIR) I will research to see what kind of flea-bag accommodations are available if I don't get any takers. So, with that said, is anyone interested in going to NJMP? 1313 |

Yes, there is a lot of empty highway out there. It was nice. And I found a nice place to eat around the D marker on that map. |

This is what I'm supposed to pick up Sunday morning. I plan on racing it at VIR third weekend in September with CCS. Fingers crossed that the deal goes through. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/21/ 482696.html?1249662955 |

The seller was entered to race the bike in the AMA DSB at VIR this weekend but had to withdraw. I told him I'd ride it under his entry .... nope. |

Hope you guys have a fine time this weekend at VIR. Heading to WCU tomorrow with a bed delivery, and decided we should spend the night. Getting to old to drive 450 miles in one day. |

Well M2nc and Smilee are off to the races! I hope it's dryer in VA than it is here in NC. |

anyone have pictures from vir? Of course I've got some pics from VIR... Some of the 'Slickest undertail you ever saw, (Keep the) Rubberdown's new 1125R race bike, and a host of other stuff. Just gotta find time to manipulate them for BadWeB and post them. But I'm at work (on lunch) now, and I don't know if I will use tonight for recovery... Great to hear U4euh is out of the hotpistol again! Here's hoping he stays out! 1313 |

Rear tire is losing air. That sucks. Only 4K miles and I might have to get new tires already. Diablo T is the 09 stock tire. If I need new tires, is this the best all around tire? The 2010 XB12Ss has the Pirelli Scorpion Sync. Looks like it would have better rain traction. But the photos on the Buell web site shows the Diablo Rosso on the XB12Ss. |

Sorry it's too late to put more up, so these will have to suffice (tease?) until time allows. If this ain't the 'slickest undertail around, I don't know what is:
Pretty cool idea for a taillight for a street 1125R:
Njoy the tease... 1313 |

is it sticking out, or is it a very realistic decal? How does it look so good? |

Follow question re: tires. The front tire show very little wear for 4K miles. Do I have to replace both if the rear is not repairable? |

J, The CRA looks nice. features says very good wet traction too. A must for daily driving when I could get caught in the rain. |

FG, I like the Syncs for general use street tires. If the front is not cupped and has plenty of rubber above the wear bars, I would continue to ride it. I'll mix tire brands for street use as well. |
