Forgive me for starting a new post if this has been covered but has anyone raced at Bonneville with an XBRR?
Since I can't sell mine I figure I might as well fulfill its destiny as a race bike.
I could not locate my tuning disc (thought my dyno guy had it, he doesn't) so I called Buell Racing who then called me back a week later to tell me it will cost $700 to replace everything (new cord, ECM, disc). I still have the cord so he offered a discount to $300 + to cover a licensing fee, reflash my ECM and send me a new disc. Since all I wanted was a software disc, it seems excessive to me. Having worked as a service manager in a dealership, I know a Race Tuner disc is about $15.
I thought I would ask here before I spend the money. I am not cheap but I need every dime I can get for Bonneville.
Anyone with a tuning disc out there?
Anyone with XBRR experience at Bonneville?
Thanks!

You should have ALL your stuff on the laptop that you are using. No need for a disk. You are going to need your latest maps that you developed anyways (the maps on the original software are only suited for one fuel/engine/atmospheric condition.

If you have everything on your computer, you're already good to go.

Not sure why you'd need a disk since all you need is the module, your computer/data and the cable - unless you never used your own computer??

We have all the maps on at least 2 or 3 computers PLUS backups on floppies.

I guess I was not being clear. I have a XBRR. This bike came with a tuning software disc which I cannot locate and DO NOT have saved on any computer, laptop or otherwise and neither does my dyno operator.
I know, how could I possibly be so foolish to lose this cd? How could it be possible that I did not save it it onto a laptop or somewhere else? Alas, this is the case!
I would like to locate another tuning disc without paying $300-$700 to Buell Racing even though I am sure they could use my money.
Slaughter, if you have a copy of the XBRR tuning software that I can use, please contact me!
Thank You!
