Me and Etennuly are hooking up tomorrow at around 0900 near Meadville, PA. Probably taking Rt. 7 down from Andover, OH to Steubenville/Marietta, then across to Parkersburg and over. Not sure of the ETA, but we aim to capture the high ground..... I can't offer to bring too many chairs- I have a tripod seat for my ownself- but I did pack a clothesline....LOL....I'm figuring on at least rinsing out some clothes after a sweaty day of riding. Ya'll are welcome to it... ROFLMAO......... Sometimes I kill me.... Mark, you have a cooler and some bottled water? I'd gladly toss in for that as well as fer the hat. I have a very large cooler full of bottled water and gatorade to share with everyone. No need to pass the hat. |

Don, You should pick up route 9 out of Salem and take it to 148w to 26. That route would be intense. I'm planning the Cleveland Friday route and trying to fit 26 in. |

Mark, if you could post up the address of the football practice! If all goes well I will be down there and set up in the 6:00-7:00 area, and I'll cruise over and find you guys! I'll have the gps, so an addy is all I need. Bike is all packed up with the exception of the little cooler on the back, which'll get filled just before I roll out. I'm super impressed with how everything fits! this bike is noticeably smaller than my M2, but the packing seems more stable! I took a picture to post up here, but then proceeded to pack the camera away in the tank bag, so no uploading for me. I've got 7ish hours of work tomorrow in the AM and then I'M OFF! |

Bummed that I'm missing football tonight. I do love me a good pigskin game! If you guys need anything, lemme know! (Message edited by emtff376 on August 13, 2009) |

Webe, To bad you don't know yet. I am heading out (too) early (before 7am for sure) to take a twisty route up from Asheville. Gonna go up back roads to 221, then some BRP, then short I-77 up to a collection of roads. Hope it works out so I don't have to cheat (interstate). Maybe I'll see you there! Uly is all loaded and ready. Now for some sleep... |

I'M HOME! I took 50 out of WV, and immediately hit 555 and took it all the way north to Zanesville. Then I just stuck with the National Road into Columbus. Gravel in many right handers, but a great road none the less. This was the cleanest I've ever seen it. I thought they repaved it recently, but it didn't really appear that way. Still, while creeping through every right, I was able to tear up the lefts! Took a good bit more meat off my left knee puck (despite full luggage on the back)! PICTURES! Thursday Night: Friday, people started showing up! Dealing with a minor incident Preride Meeting DINNER Oh the caption possibilities The back yard sunset Saturday's pit stop Nap-y-poo! And back home Probably should clean 'er up! My larger downloadable pictures can be found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mikef5000/sets/721576 22056389354/ |

Home my ownself now. Made grate time; used 50 to 18 to 2 detour to Moundsville, then all slab. Stopped at Cabela's and soaked up the air conditioning, drank a soda, and iced down my neck for a bit. Made the suggested 6 hour trip (according to Yahoo Maps) in 5 hours of road time..... I can't believe that I almost skipped breakfast. You know how badly I'd have kicked myself in the ass if I'd have missed that..... damn, she's still hawt! Thanks to all for a fabulous weekend. Vern, grate riding with you and I hope you made it home alright- that wish goes as well to ALL travelers. Ken, thanks for the spark plugs. They will surely be handy! Hone those ninja skills for next year... Janette, thanks again for the liquids, and the entertainment. Mark, on your final sweep, you wouldn't have happened to recover a pair of Ray Bans with a leather keeper? Thanks for organizing the weekend, and for having such wonderful folks! I already look forward to next year.... |

Made it home safe last night but very tired. We had a great time and couldn't have meet a better group of people. Mark's parents Jack and Judy are wonderful people. They welcomed all of us in their buetiful home with open arms and had a meal Friday and Saturday evening fit for a king. Mark mapped out a great ride with a lot of lefts and rights and a few straights, it had great scenery on top of all the yard sales. Todd said it was awful hard to see what all they were selling when he was looking at the road. Every1 showed great riding skills. Can't wait for next year hope it turns out even better then this year. Mark hope you didn't forget to make reservations for next year at the camp ground. I will be making mine at the Hertiage on Monday. Hope evry1 had a great and safe trip home. Thanks for the great time, Todd & Angie |

What an awesome weekend!!!! Good people and riding. Three Cheers for Mark, Jack and Judy. I can't wait until next year! I was the last man out of the campground, While I was packing the bike a female park ranger stopped by and said that the place looked great and she appreciated it being left clean. I hit the road about 12:20 got home at 5:00. |
