yah, I know Speaking of "bud", did anyone ever clarify what "POT" training was? (I think I have that right, heard someone talking similar stuff on campus the other night as I was waiting for the classroom to get unlocked.) |

Mike....If you're taking bids on the S2, I'll trade you one S3T and I'll include 2 years membership in BCB. |

How about $3500, the s3t (it is heavily modified now you know ), and a 6-pack of 20oz. Coca-Cola's? Actually I'd like to keep the S2 since I do like it. But with the M2 being deeper into my wallet and more of a general crowser bike, and since they both seem to generate the same market prices, I'm just trolling to see if I can get my price. If I get past this month I'll be better, and if I get past May I'll keep it until September and then maybe do a little diagonal upgrading. Suburban has a couple Dyna's and FX's in occaisionally, as does Hal's once in a while, which will fit one need, and something coming soon should be a nice diagonal swapage item. Oh well, I should have rode the S2 to Jerry's party. (I think I'd better go hide out for awhile now.) |

But it could be back to stock in less time than it took me to do the mods I'd even throw in both sets of bags, an extra windscreen, V&H pipes, S&S wannabe air cleaner with 2 K&N filters, Corbin seat and whatever else I can find in the garage/shed. Oh yeah, almost forgot...and a case of 20oz Coca-Cola |

Dennis, Is that the carb'd version or early f.i.? Also, does the seat have the backrest for the passenger?

(Starting to think I'd better find that spare brand new S2 seat I have buried someplace and start rigging up a passenger retention backrest soon. First I need to find a bending jig, or find where I stashed the anvil and borrow a farrier's kiln) |

What?!?!?!?!!!!!!! So, now, instead of competing against him he gets to throw cones at me? Could be an interesting summer. Is Bomber also going to MC the event at the MilwaukeeRally National event as well? And here I thought he was trimming down his M2 into the ultimate BattleBike. |

Mike . . .. . nossir, Reg is contracted to do all the national event . . . .I'll still compete when not making a fool of myself with the microphone (as opposed to making a fool of myself on the bike) . . . . . as for the ulimate battle bike, I'm think a supermotard would fill that ticket nicely, but I think I am temporarily at my limit for wheeled projects |

Looks like we will all have to become temporarily unemployed for the last two weeks in August. Wonder if we can get away with some medical excuse like "I gots the Buell Flu or HD Dysentery?" |

Just call in to work and say they have the roads blocked between home and work and you'll be in once the barricades are lifted. This may actually work for me since the nearest dealership has basically bought all the available neighborhood space for the week according to a co-worker here. The bike may be the only way I make it out of the driveway at times. |

One point of interest is that a very high percentage of folks I have met locally are signing up for the "rent your house" program and are planning to leave town on vacation as well. Their rationale is that the income will offset the vacation costs and that their home and contents will be perfectly safe. I really wonder about that last point. LOL |

The concept of situational ethics comes to mind. That and the law of averages. I'm not leaving town unless it's time to leave town, then I'm gone. |
