I am going to be "logged off" for a couple of days, well at least evening hours. Working on refinishing the floors this weekend and next week. This requires movement of computer communication equipment. Land line will be functional if anyone needs to get a hold of me. I have started entering data into the Brew City Database. I should be able to set it up so that I can quickly print out a phone/e-mail contact list as well as put out an emergency contact sheet for each rider that has said they would make a particular ride. (Of course everyone carries some sort of emergency contacts/instructions on them when they are riding anyway, right????) Mennis, I am planning on going to POT training as well. I'll be heading down on Friday night. Give me a call sometime to work out details. Jerry |

"POT": hmmm, Police Officer Training? Position Officiator Terminator? Politically Oriented Translator? Police Ovoidance Transilluminator? Podium Officiam Transilluciadiator? Primary Officer Training? Hmmm????? If the latter in relation of "official" BRAG duties, I thought it was all in the Detroit area? Oh well, s'okay. Jerry, Hope you're wearing a dust mask. Your helmet with the visor down is not sufficient. Wood dust is nasty to the lungs. Have fun regardless, just don't sand a window into the basement. |

Yes it was Bill.... You would have known that had you been there though. Your practically just down the street. Do you guys and gals think it would be a good idea for us to ask Blake if he could pin this year's ride schedule to the top of the Brew City section? I think it would be a handy reference for a lot of people. That is of course if Blake feels that it should be done. |

Might be easier to just repaste it in once in awhile since I understand some of the planned rides may be rescheduled, and getting the banner/header text updated may cause a few headaches. Just a thought. Case in point, the ride to CourseCafe may be changed to a ride to Iowa, unless I misunderstood an overheard conversation. (Or maybe I misread a comment or two.???) |

I think reposting periodically is good idea. Especially since we are going to try and coordinate some events with the other area clubs. Only suggestion I can think of is handing out the revised schedules at the meetings. Posting is nice, but I get the feeling not all are online. |

Rick has the email list of those on-line. Perhaps a monthy posting of a 60-day preview of upcoming rides would work. Couple that with posting the current schedule on the BRAG/Buell bulletin board in Hal's showroom. Again, just some thoughts. |

Actually, we are paying to have a website I thought. I know we reserved the name www.brewcitybrag.com which right now just links back to Hals. That is where our schedule should be. |

That would be nice, especially if it's an easy link to find. Looks like there are front page logo links to various internal and external pages on their main page. Might be real nice to see the BrewCity logo there beside the Kettle Moraine chapter logo as a live link to the ride and contact info. |

I was in visiting with Rick & Kirk on Friday. We're looking into options for the BrewCityBrag.com homepage. Hal's has a full time web person on their payroll (if I was understanding things correctly). Rick was supposed to have her get in contact with me. I'll shot him a reminder today. Kirk mentioned that we would probably be able to host our website on their computer. That would save us some $$. As for the ride schedule....for now I think we should just keep it in the front of peoples minds on this page. There really isn't much happening for rides in the next 2 months. Our first "scheduled" group ride is in less than 3 weeks. I think we'll need to keep our fingers crossed to get that first ride. If I remember correctly, it snowed last year on the day of our first "scheduled" ride. Maybe we'll have better luck this year. I keep reminding myself that March is "In like a Lion, Out like a Lamb" See ya all next Tuesday!!!! |

Ding, ding, ding....Congrats Mike, you've won the grand prize of riding with the Brew City Brag The first ride was the brain child of Rick K from Hal's. According to my handy dandy schedule (posted right next to my desk), we're "Crashing the Campus". I think its supposed to be a back roads ride to Whitewater and back. I'd think we'd stay out of the real twisties until the roads get some April showers to wash off all the extra sand & gravel. We'll take volunteers to ride leaders at the meeting on Tuesday. Our second group ride isn't scheduled until April 27th. It is the ride to Corse Cafe for lunch and bike gawking. Back to the grind! |

I'll buy the S2 for $20! |

Okay, that will be a non-refundable deposit on the S2 dash plate should a higher acceptable price not be found or offered or received. Please send $15 in my name to the powers that be, and place the remaining $5 in your wallet for later redemption. Should a higher offer not be offered negotiations will begin over coffee and soda, and negotiations will end once either an equitable price is reached or once the deposit funds are depleted and transferred to the coffee/soda vendor or vendorette. |
