Had a great time watching the racing on Saturday at HPR. John FiField did great He got second in the first race on Sat. then took 4th overall in the endurance race. On Sunday he took first. His is a video of the last lap with him passing Cromer for the win. Click on the youtube video.
(Cromer has a video camera on the rear and the front of his bike.

Visited with Frank yesterday morning.

I pulled in to work and saw a loaded-up black Uly. OK.
The jacket on top of the pile looked like Frank's but wait, his Uly was Blue....

Next thing I know, I hear him saying "Could this weather SUCK any more???"

It was great meeting some new people, like Andy. We all need to get together for a ride before the summer ends. (NO the summer can't end)

There are some great roads in SD and they would be great any other time than bike week. I did have a good time and did just over 1600 miles. The Uly performed well.

Thanks John. Would love to join u guys but Dan and I are heading up to Woodland Park to do some camping and dirt biking. We will be at Pueblo next Sunday for a track day there thru Chicane track days. Have a great day on Sunday.

We had a great day at HPR. Good weather and lots of camaraderie. I know some were talking about going to Pueblo next week. Glad your ok. Your not dirt riding with out doing endo's. That's just a part of dirt bike riding.

Julie, I've decided not to do the track day this weekend. There is one more at Pueblo in early September before the season is over and I might make that one. I'm just not satisfied with the condition of my bike for track purposes yet, and a lot of it comes down to money. I will probably ride out this Sunday after 12 pm to see how y'all are doing.

It is probably a little out of your way...but up north in Aurora I use a small placed called Motorcycle Depot. They try to give prices competitive with the online guys, but provide local (for me) and quality service. Talk to Adam (the owner) and feel free to mention me (the Pilot/Buell guy).

Luv4mybuell78, I get my tires on-line at http://www.americanmototire.com/catalog/

I then take the wheel off the bike and take everything down to American Motorcycles to have them mounted and balanced. They also have tires in stock.

If you need it in a hurry you can try Apex downtown, Rocky mountain Cycle Plaza or Pikes Peak HD as a last resort.

If you can make it to Fredrick to HCHD they are a lot better than PPHD in they know what they are doing.
