Interesting, I wonder if there was a problem with the speedo sensor on your test bike. The speedometer is large and clear, and if you weren't seeing it, and also based on the gear indicator staying as a dash, something was amiss. | ||

I could see the speedo. And it worked fine. It just wasn't immediately obvious to me at a glance. | ||

Dale, there is a brightness setting for the lighted instruments and mine was set way too low initially to see in daylight. Now on its highest setting (6) and its much better especially with my smoke windscreen. I can pick it up with just a glance. And welcome aboard.
