I'm not trying to start a fight, and I'm not trying to rehash the marketing argument. I just find myself in the unusual predicament of having to dispute "facts" presented on buell.com. Since we have two Blasts in our very store (and one in our sister store) I happen to know that the clever marketing ploy is just that.
A few times a week I find myself working to convince people that Blasts still exist, if without the Buell logo on them. So I thought I'd go for maximum impact here.
So I'm working a little "rumor" control here, purely out of my own self-interest.
I think it is cool the way they marketed it for shock and awe, but that the bikes are actually available for those who want them. very cool, Buell. Very cool.
Hey, Chellem.... any idea where we can get parts for our cubes? Will it be only at Buell dealers or H-D dealers that have Riders Edge or both? Or all? Or none?
It's just that the Blast was so profitable and popular that HD/BMC decided to spin it off into it's own division. Soon there will be a whole line of Blast Motorcycles. Even dirt bikes!

We don't sell the parts already cubed. You'd have to crush them yourselves.
However, the WHOLE, uncubed parts we do have at Liberty, as Buell dealers. I'm 99% sure that will stay the same, because the prior years still say Buell. Unless they're sneaking into garages in the middle of the night stealing decals.
And I'm not saying they're not...
Good question about the riders edge folks though. Seems kinda cold to ship them the bikes and then not let them buy parts to fix 'em. We're not riders edge, so I don't know.
Yes. We're not rider's edge. And yet here we are with 2 UNCUBED BLASTS ON THE FLOOR - READY FOR A NICE HOME!
