I am contemplating getting the Jardine for my 1125R. I need to know if I can run it temporarily without the PT 3 or if it will not run well without it? I don't have the money for both, but seriously want the pipe ASAP. Thanks for any help with this.

I'll second that, no need to retune, just plug and play! Great sound too!

Jersey, No hard feelings but between running pretty well as a feeling, and looking in the bike what the fuel is doing is a big difference, I promise you the bike is running very lean, take care of it, and look for a solution to get your fuel map in with enough fuel.

i had the aluminum rt-5 and the carbon fiber rt-5. the aluminum sounded better. the carbon fiber looked so sharp though. the reason for noise difference was the carbon fiber didnt insulate as well.I never had a complaint about my exhaust everyone loved it. it was so mean sounding.

The Jardine, along with any other open type exhaust systems require A Lot of fueling corrections on both front and rear cylinders.

Without data (individual wideband/dyno/datalogging, ect...) you are only guessing.

This has been proven many times and is fact.

Don't let the "sound" and "seat of the pants" fool you into thinking all is a ok.

Or find out the hard way.

It IS (1125R/Cr/ANY year) lean without mapping corrections and it (stock) will NOT "learn" to correct in all load points without forced tuning.

it is definately running extremely lean on the top end especially.

I may have a solution to affording both.

Would you be interested in buying a used one?

I just got Buells race bike, and pulled the Jardine

PM and make an offer

Sturgis is almost done.
I am within 400 miles of there, so this time of year is Psychotic at the HD/Buell shop

In a week or two, I will get the front brake recall(0838) and get a A/F-HP-Torque baseline.

Out of the box with the stock maps, she did 128 HP on 2 different Dyno-Jets.
Now she has a softer map, a K&N and a Drummer.
I have "hardened" the map a little.
Time to really "see" where I'm at.
