Luca, you do realize those pipes are pretty loud right? |

'nutz, when BUB himself [with LSR machine in tow] spoke at our monthly ASBN mtg, I asked if he would please make the Buell duals less loud - "hell, NO !!" was his immediate reply..... |

Yeah, Luca is in Italy, and they have laws about being too loud...Just trying to warn him. |

yes, they're quite loud Luca, there's an Italian connection here - the sexy 'muffler' portion of these pipes is actually a modified Conti replica, which BUB offers for Ducati/Guzzi/etc. set against their admittedly high db, I see the pipes' classic appearance as a positive..... |

Hi. Everyone tell me "Don't take Bub, don't take Tforce, because in Italy you will have problems with law. Well potentially it's true but still my "light" V&H is street illegal... Sunday I find an Electra Glide with Bub and behind him I only hear his sound....well I'm not joking if I say tha I was like Ulisse with the sirens...you all know what I mean... May be I will do a mistake, I will use this exhaust 30 miles and then I will realized it's really loud. I will placed my V&H once again. That's all... (Message edited by Luca on August 06, 2009) |

Rock on, just trying to help you from making a possible expensive mistake (But I hope it works out for you)! These aren't cheap. Last set I saw went for $425 plus shipping on ebay used. |

Brinnutz, I understand very well and I'm happy (very happy) to write with you all (and I envy you all because I hope one day to live in USA). You have to understand me if, when I write, I'm not able to express my opinions with the correct tone ...it's only because is difficult for me 'cause I don't speak and write in english since 2-3 years so sometimes it may seems that I give answers not very polite or that I give a curt answer but it's not my will!!! I have also tell about BWB to my friends!! Thank you sincerly. Luca (Message edited by luca on August 08, 2009) |

I dyno'd a set of these on a S3 and they made terrible power. It lost about 10 hp. I wouldn't recommend these unless you have something other that good HP in mind. Jeff |

despite the [alleged] hp loss, the BUBs look & sound REALLY nice, exactly like a strong Sportster..... |

I had them on my Sportster, and they definitely sound great. |

I'm sure the Bubs sound great, but there's not alledging about it- they WILL lose power to a stock 2-1 design. Many dynosheets have proven 2-2 pipes with uneven header lengths will fall short of 2-2s with even headers and even shorter of well-designed 2-1 exhausts, partcularly on V-twin engines. My friend CJ has a 1250 Sportster with stage III heads, and the bike made almost 20 more horsepower just replacing the V&H shortshots with a Bassani Road Rage 2-1. |

Phelan, thanks for the backup. I will look for the dyno sheet tomorrow just so everyone believes me. I honestly threw the pipes out after dynoing them. Jeff |
