my bolts that hold the cap/cover to the actual tank are stripped and leaks around the cap... need a tank, i sold 3 or 4 over the years thinking id never need them...that always happens to me! |

Try "welding" some new material (plastic) into the holes with a soldering iron. Should be able to build the material back up enough so the screws grab again....not sure about the ultimate compatability with the S2 tank, but I've used nylon shoelaces before. They melt relatively quickly and bond fairly well. Feed 'em in like solder. |
