So Hollywood is going to make a big screen version of "The A-Team." I see they've already cast a couple of the roles, but if YOU were casting that movie, who would YOU pick? Here are my choices (multiple) for each part: Hannibal: George Clooney, Brad Pitt Murdock: Jim Carrey B. A. I don't believe they can pull this one off. Where are they going to find hundreds of mid 70's vans to convert into tanks, battering rams, mobile missile launchers, etc.? Why did they use guns on that show? No one ever got shot. | ||

Just to explain the joke: Dirk Benedict had two roles that anyone can remember in their life time. "Starbuck" in the original "Battlestar: Galactica" and "Templeton 'Face' Peck" in "The A-Team." Since Katie Sackoff got the role of "Starbuck" in the Battlestar: Galactica remake, I felt it only fair she should get the role of "Face" in the remake of The A-Team... | ||

I'm thinkin' Brad Pitt as "Face" and how bout Steve Buscemi as "Murdock" (although I do love the idea of Carrey). Another I thought I had years ago was Anthony Hopkins as "Hannibal", although that might be a little ironic. | ||

Pkforbes87, A-team was before my time too, so I got all 5 seasons from Netflix. Well worth it, I love the cheesy effects, continuity errors, bullet holes that appear before guns shoot, and lots of chicks that are now in their 70s. | ||

down here in tampa on channel 8-2(the second channel 8 on regular tv) they have all the old tv programs. especially from the 70's. A-team is on every night at 8pm. it is a little to much to watch though. | ||

Definitely Michael Clarke Duncan for BA. I completely agree with Jaimec's first lineup. But Clooney should do Hannibal while Pitt does Face. Those guys are great together. ~SM | ||

Ermey would be great, but he would be yelling and screaming at all the stupid jarheads as they lose the A-team again. Lynch was always disappointed and had a fake kind of anger, I just don't see Ermey doing it the same way. But that change could be for the better. | ||

I can see Clooney as Hannibal Smith, Carrey as H M Murdoch. Johnny Depp as Face, & how about Barry Bonds for B. A. (he needs rehabilitating, the fool) Got to find a spot for Bruce Willis in there somewhere too. | ||

I can't remember the actor's name that played Spawn. I think he'd make a good B.A. Ving Rhames could easily pull it off. I like the idea of Clooney/Carrey Face is a hard one. You need a pretty boy in the right age group that can actually act. Perhaps Pitt or Val Kilmer. | ||

Michael Jai White played Spawn. However, I don't think he'd look "menacing" enough. Not compared to the three I suggested, anyway. |
