I thought I had some pretty crazy ideas for my RGV250 thumper "special", but it looks like I'm not the only one. I don't have any other info about these pics except that it's a Cagiva Mito 125 with a Honda CB500 twin (Euro model) stuffed into it... Notice it seems to have two radiators? One's an intercooler for the turbo! Hmmm, let's see... I have an RGV250 which doesn't run, a baby supercharger, and ebay... BWAH HA HA HA! cheers, chili |

It's hard to get serious about something based on TW225 though Deus make lovely bikes, some of their cafe racers look amazing. Pricey, but I doubt I could make anything that looks that good for the same money. I'd love to put a Blast motor in the RGV frame, but they were never sold here |

"Pricey, but I doubt I could make anything that looks that good for the same money." As EZ, Eriko and Others have shown on the THUMPer Forum it does not take allot of money to Customize a bike, just a little imagination. I like to search old Magazines and the Internet to see what other People are doing for Ideas. I see something I like may try to see if it will work on my bike.

At 220 lbs, the only thing 500cc I would ride would be a 2 stroke. |

There's something addictive about having a little bike, and not enough power, and having to ride as smoothly and precisely as possible while wringing its neck! Plus you get to use the bike to it's maximum without endangering the license quite as much |

"...it does not take allot of money to Customize a bike, just a little imagination..." I totally agree What I meant is that Deus put some *really* nice bits and details on some of their bikes, like handmade alloy fuel tanks, which tend to push the price up. The RGV "special" I'm planning shouldn't... I hope... cost much at all... maybe. Yep, I have heaps and heaps of old bike magazines too, stored away... just in case I need to refer back to them someday! |

Lemonchili_x1 Got a friend that Built a Hard-tail Bobber from surplus scrap parts H-D Evo Engine. He put a early Solid Chrome BSA Gas Tank on it and allot of other vintage parts really made the look of the Bike. I always liked the look of the Chrome Side BMW (Toaster) Gas Tank. It is a great Accomplishment to Build your very own Bike from the Ground-up, you end up knowing everything about it and you have something nobody else has Personalize By You. |

I though all the CB engines were inline 4. The VT500 was a twin. |

Actually, the CB indicated that the bike was a street bike...CL was "dual purpose" and SL was "dirt"...there were a variety of parallel twins back in the day...from 125cc up to 500cc. I'm not sure if they ever sold a water cooled parallel twin in the US. |

"It is a great Accomplishment to Build your very own Bike from the Ground-up, you end up knowing everything about it and you have something nobody else has Personalize By You." Yep, you know where I'm coming from . I've done one bike starting from a frame and a set of crankcases. It was never completely finished, but I did get to ride it once. The RGV "special" will be my first engine transplant, something I've wanted to do for a long time. One day, once I've acquired a few more skills, I'd like to build my own frame . The liquid cooled CB500 twin was mainly a European market model I think, built from '94 to '03. Some were made in Italy. GB500's are cooooool . Never officially imported here, but there are a few floating around (GB400's too). |

I really like the 86-87 GSX-R in the second pic, behind the Ducati. Looks to be in great original condition. My first sportbike was an '86 Gixxer 750. Wish I kept it. |
