What's the price on the stock muffler [with CA catalyst]?? I had a little run in with a chick that wasn't paying attention pulling into traffic last Friday and a number of parts got damaged on my bike including the muffler. When I have a shop repair it, I want to upgrade to a drummer and I'm trying to figure out what the $$difference is going to be (Message edited by Pizzaboy on August 03, 2009) | ||

Tony, where do you live? Sorry to hear about your incident. A few weeks ago I was making a left turn where I had to turn in front of a car stopped at a stop sign, waiting to make his left turn...even with my blinker blazing away, the guy decides to make his left as I am turning and closing the distance between us. I can still remember thinking, and yelling "Woa, F@ck!!!!" as I stood the bike up and he slammed on the brakes. The guy was in a convertible and heard me yelling and at least said "Sorry" as i continued on. I REALLY thought I was getting nailed and probably breaking a leg cause that' exactly where his bumper was aimed. Scary. | ||

I'm in reno. It probably wouldn't have happened had I not been trying to park 2 spaces in front of where she was parked! I would have blasted by her faster than she would have been able to see me, but I was slowing down and headed right where she was coming from.... What a bummer! I'm certianly bummed about it, now on top of needing to do my valve check, I heed to wait till I get my bike put back together! Good thing for my trusty '96 S2!! |
