I have (I think) a pair of S2 signals on the shelf at work. I want to say they're LF/RR...but I can check. What do you need? They are a pair, used twice. The LF and RR are the same part; RF and LR are also the same. |

Like, used once on one bike for 20,000 miles and another for 10,000, or each blinked two times? (It's late, I couldn't resist....) Joe -- Seriously, if Maru doesn't want them I should buy them. New paint and old front signals are probably a bad mix. If he does take them order me one set - I can afford to wait. I need to check in you as well on Brembo rear brake components. Also, if you can send me a rear fender pic I'd appreciate it. Your last comment on the parts needed thread deserves some consideration. |

You won't have trouble getting them from Buell.I ordered a RF/LR from the dealer today.I guess 92,000 miles was enough to do my LR signal in. I'm trying to hot melt glue the parts back together for temporary use. |

I am aware of no S2 parts that are not available. rear brake pads. i tried ordeing them through my dealership and they said the stock brembo pads have been discontinued and proceeded to pull out the drag specialties fat book to find an aftermarket alternative. |

Well,I was told that the signal I ordered two weeks ago, that showed then as being availible,is not.I got a refund and am back to square one. I have an ad in the classifieds, asking for unwanted S2 signals.I will be glad to pay for signals and shipping to 30188 in Ga. I hope to keep running S2 signals in the rear,as they fit the cutout in the hard bags.I use XB signals up front, for a cleaner look. Thanks Mike |

Y0503.8 and Y0504.8 both show as vendor direct, 5 day availability. jgoetz@hdoffrederick.com, I'll order you as many as you need |

Joe: Order me a set and see what you get. If you can, order 2 each (RF, LF, RR, LR) and let me know what I owe you. Let's see what we get. The factory exhausted the remaining inventory and did not re-order, the P/N was added to the inactive list. Court |

Well, so far Y0503.8, *despite* H-Dnet showing it as "ACTIVE - VENDOR DIRECT, 5 DAY LEAD", kicked off a "this part has been discontinued" fax from HD P&A department. Grrr. Nothing yet on Y0504.8. I need to figure out who to yell at at H-Dnet. I don't mind if it is discontinued (I'll just try double-hard not to bust mine)...but PUT IT ON THE WEBSITE CORRECTLY. |

Yah. The fax we got had a date of 7/28, I misspoke. The order didn't prompt the fax itself, it prompted a "hey, I've seen that number recently" memory trigger in the parts guy. The "Active / 5 day" screen was at 4:30 today. Grrrr..... |

Joe, try getting a stock timing cover. Part number 32550-94y. Let me know how that one pans out. I am glad I bought extra turn signals since they will be used on the restoration project. Would it be possible to get a listing of which dealer has turn signals on the shelf. I would be willing to snag a few more up for anyone that needs them if they are at a dealer close by. Frank |

Sure thing Court, I will wait to see what Joe says. I will be close to just about every Buell dealer in Colorado sometime this month. Joe, if someone orders that part at a dealership and it shows up "no longer available" does the dealership do a search of other dealerships so the part can be sent between the two dealerships? I always thought it worked that way but I guess it would require some initiative on the first dealerships part. |

It does require the initiative of the first dealer, to start a search. I'll plug the numbers into the locator, and see who shows them in stock. I'll try to do it today - even though I'm off, I "get" to go in for a delivery - but if I decide I have to get outta there before I get sucked into a whole days' work, I'll run them on Friday. |

Well, unfortunately HD/Buell cancelled our orders for S2 signals. Court, Roger...can't get 'em, sorry. They told my parts guy the vendor is out of stock on them and will not be making any more. Guess "that's our final answah", as Regis would say.... |

Damn, sad news Joe. There are other parts that are unavailable as I am finding out with my current project. Is it possible to get the locations of where some might be on the shelf at a dealership. I will close to most of the dealerships in Colorado and NM next week. Did you get my pm about the mirror? I think I need to know where those are as well. I wonder why THAT part would be discontinued? After all, when you go down they get broke. Frank |

I found a pair. I got the impression that they were in their system under the old number. It would be worth doing a dealer search under both numbers. American Sport Bike has come stainless ones that sound cool, but you have to drill the mounting holes slightly larger. Somehow, that seems sacrilegious... |

Thanks, Wilson! I'm not sure I'd have had a chance to do an ebay search this week. I don't need the turn signal, but I could use just about everything else he's selling. |
