Sorry, I must have just missed you guys, saw the dealership lot @ 8:40 from the interstate pulled up @ 8:45.. I seriously misjudged Clearwater to Lakeland.. Good ride anyway though I got my bearings wrong a few times... Rode around green swamp, then went played up in Pasco, started raining hard I have no Idea how I ended up in spring hill  Came across two accidents today one must have been a run off but the other on Ehren Cutoff I couldn't figure out.. 8-9 bikes on the side of the road.. Had 3 idiots on liter bikes pass me doing I'd say 110-120 on a two-lane back road WTF is wrong with people Got a miracle tank for my bike 148 miles since the last fillup, probably run out when I back out the driveway.. Nice early morning fogginess on my way to the ride. Nice to have a ride close to me that has a few curves and bends.  At 8:33 we knew we were the only ones. Only the sexy beasts came out today.  We had words about the demise of the venerable Blast.  Self portrait of the day.     As much as I try, I can't get left handed, left sided pictures aimed right. Every single one was miss-aimed. This is the best I got of you LaFayette on the other side.  Harry had his Go Devil cranked up to ludicrous speed!!! It's got that Borg technology, you know.     We stopped in Floral City at (?)Patty's Pub. Not sure of the name, but GREAT, plentiful food at a great price. And way better 'taters than Clermont!!!! I vote we boycott them for a couple months!  Our noble steads await our return run.  That's it for now. I'm going to chop together the vids, get it up in a day or two. My tail cam, as well as the rest running, show LaFayette getting up close and personal with the long arm of the law. I understand the Fuzz is a Bueller that has been with us before. And is a frequenter of Bad Web. No Certificates of Achievement today! Tim and I were pretty sure we weren't bending the law....too much!  Mike | ||

Well, shoot. The embed doesn't work, but the link does. Hummm, anyone know how to embed correctly? I've searched with the site engine, but the Bad Web search didn't help much. Gentlemen, I give you photogs of Saturdays ride. Mike We gotta learn how to straighten up our gig line. This is sloppy!! How amateur we must look to the Harley guys.  Detailed planning stage….  About time Chuck, we almost left without you!  Except we had to wait for Richard too! Alright, now to really plan this out. Excellent choice by the way. Good 'taters!!      Bill and Harry were sent to the kiddy table.  While the rest got to sit at the big kids table. At least until the first food fight.   Tim works on his tan in the glow of Bill’s day glow jacket.  Richard only needed a little more color on his right cheek.   I’m somehow reminded of Gort…. We come in peace…. we’d like to have you for dinner…. to eat….. you.  This place was awesome, thanks for taking us there.     I’d give up a limb for this old gal.   One cool dude, who could chat for hours about old rides.  I’m guess’n there are smiles behind those helmets.  See y'all next time. | ||

The Mighty Blast.....has been ASSIMILATED...(Except the mirrors)...hopefully it will go home with somebody that can appreciate it. Next ride....meet JEZEBEL. I am so freakin' STOKED!!! Bought it Saturday..Got the suspension set up for my featherweight self on Sunday..She's a little tall, but I have a weakness for long legged redheads. And I found a low seat to help with the height issue...Little promo here...the guys at Ocala HD/Buell rock!! Brian in parts is very helpful...they had a seat in stock and I should have it on Tuesday...(and a killer deal to boot)...gonna get some CRG's and a Easy-Pull...and I'll be ready to ROCK!! Yeah Mike it is sad. If anyone has ever met Erik Buell in person, you can see the pain he is going through making that video announcement. I am sure all of us Buell owners will be able to get parts for a long time. I heard that H-D is going to support parts and service for a at least 7 years. To what extent will be the question. yall dont think someone is going to pick them up within a little while, even if he dont own it all and hd owns more, maybe hell work for the ppl that are makeing the motors, can am brp.....maybe some of the other smaller privateers will all join in or in a little hd will open there eyes and let him come back full force and give him the funding he needs when there not doing so bad and he can keep all hs ideas and use other more bigger powerful motors or put that new rotax insdie the xb's......and dangit i dont think i have the money unless i get another loan to buy an 1125r my other dream bike....i want the 09 model white n blue like my 08 xb12r.....and you should see some of the bashing of buell on other forums its not kool lol.....alota ppl in sportbike forums almost seem happy and are mad and angry about how the ama bends rules and bla bla get over it and ride! |
