I didn't see that anyone else had posted this yet so here are the changes for 2010 on the 1125. Rear wheel bearings- 3 bearings and dust seals. -New tools are required to remove and install these bearings. Axle & Wheel changes due to new bearings. Rear turn signals changing to bulb. LED tail light. LED adapter module. -Needed to operate the front LED turn signals. Front brake master cylinder seal change to reduce the free play in the lever. -This change is applicable to the XB12R, XB12Scg, XB12SS, and XB12SX. Chassis harness -JST connector for taillight, bullet connectors for rear turn signals but they are both female ends -No longer have a connector for the fan sub-harness Lower cam chain guides -2009 running change Common cam chain tensioners -14 micron on both cylinders(same as 2008) Oil sight glass in crankcase -Affects oil check procedure(see new oil checking procedure) Oil capacity change -3.2L with filter / 2.9L without filter 2010 model year instrument cluster will not retrofit back due to hardware change for new turn signals. 1125CR will come with the high handlebars -Low bars will become a P&A kit. Improved clutch slave cylinder components. Improved water pump seals, shaft & cover. Battery tender connector built into harness. |

Kozy- I take it this means the "HD University Technical Forum Model Year 2010" document is out? Sure would be nice to get a copy of that. I've managed to find the 2007, 2008, and 2009 versions on the net. Would you mind posting the changes for the Uly over in BB&D? I'm sure a lot of people would like to see them. |

Fresnobuell: I suspect adding the sight glass counts for the very minor capacity increase. |

Good list. I'll be getting the LED tail light for my '09 for sure - the sight glass for the oil would be nice to have, but I'm not too heart broken. The rest of it sounds like nothing major. Just did 2,000 miles on the CR and covered 6 states over the last week and I still LOVE it. |

Oil capacity change -3.2L with filter / 2.9L without filter WHY? I think a little oil is in the filter so you'd over fill it otherwise. |

Oil capacity was revised from 08-09 to 010 with the same engine...sight glass is speculated to be the reason why. |

Anything more on what was revised on the clutch slave components? Everyone was having the leaky clutch and I was wondering if this was a fix or if this is some other form of change. ST |

Be nice if Anon would advise, instead of us speculating needlessly about e.g., a sight glass. |

My service manager sez the new cover is the fix. I'm getting my done next week, we'll see how it holds up. |

The cover on my '09 just started weeping some oil... maybe I'll do that same. |

>>>instead of us speculating needlessly I'd wait a couple weeks. Speculation is ALL there is at the moment. Don't place too much stock in what you hear until you hear something official. I think you will. |

By the way . . . I DO NOT OWN an 1125R and that's just my guess. |

My service manager sez the new cover is the fix. I'm getting my done next week, we'll see how it holds up. Bads: Which one are you going for as "the fix"? From previous posts: Rev B Clutch Cover Assembly: R1029A.1AM or 2010 Clutch Cover Assembly: R0022A.3AM My service guy says they both show as good numbers, but is the 2010 cover compatible with...an '08? I also ASSUME the piston will get an upgrade? (Did I just hijack this thread? Lo siento. |

Anyone find out if R0022A.3AM fit '08? |
