I am tired of parking my bike at work and letting it sit all day under the grueling sun. So I am thinking about a Buell Fortress cover for it to act as sun protection while I am inside. Motorcycle parking is directly outside of the lobby at my work; and the receptionist has a clear view of the bikes at all times, so I am not worried (much) about theft. But I AM worried about it blowing away. So my question is: Do any of you know how the fit is for 1125R? If it's snug and form fitting, I'll give it a shot. But since it's for most of the XB's as well, I wonder if the fit is a little too generic. What do you think?

Yeah, I got one for mine really good fit. I don't think you'll have to worry about to blowing off. Pretty nice quality too.

I bought one thinking that it was an all weather cover like the old "Armor Cloak" covers. It isn't. It's just a very heavy duty dust cover.

I bought the Harley-Davidson full size heavy cover for the Ulysses and it works fabulous in heavy weather AND accommodates the bags nicely.

Steve, I don't know if it would work all day but when I am going on a ride long enough to have a restaurant stop of several hours break I use a "space age blanket" I found at a local camping supply store. I don't know what they mean by that but it is a blanket of very light highly reflective material that folds into a small(6"X6"X1" pouch made for emergencies. It reflects the suns heat very well and leaves my bike so I am able to hop right on a not so hot seat and tank and ride away. Works good for just a few bucks. How durable it is I do not know as I have only used it for a few hours a couple ot times. Seems tough though. I secure it from the wind with a couple of long shoelaces. Bob
