According to Roadracing World, Bruce Rossmeyer died in a motorcycle accident today.

Tragic if true. I've met him and spoke with him a few times. Truely down to earth type of guy.

Tragic in many ways. My thoughts are with his family, too. This less than a week after the death of Richard Nallin. Both of these men made huge contributions to our Buell family.

Terrible news. He was on his way to Sturgis. Did part of the dealer ride with our GM - he said he was with him last night.

The Orlando Sentinal is reporting that he died doing what he loved.

Really unbelievable. Some sort of a run-in with an RV crossing the line. Not sure of the details yet.

He definitely built one hell of a motorcycle empire down in Florida. You can't travel a mile down I-95 from about the Carolina's without seeing one of his roadside signs.
