Nice. I'm going to the dealer today, so I'll see if they can order it. Once I get it in, I'll see if it is truly plug and play (I'm thinking - and hoping - that is is). From Buell's standpoint, it would be nice if it were to keep all the running changes limited to a taillight assembly. |

They should be able to order it from the part number I provided. |

I ordered mine from the local dealer today, so the part number does in fact work. Not sure how well it will work, if its plug and play, or even if the clear lens comes with it (won't use it anyway)...but all in due time. I'll make sure to report back when I install it. |

Sit down and memorize a few parts books, look for patterns. Its funny, because I was able to predict a few part numbers before they came out |

Froggy, isn't that the part number for the scoop on the X/XT/XP? I thought the part number for the new RSS on the R and S models was M8054.7AA, which retails for $6.25. |

M8054.7AA does not exist as far as I can see. You might mean M0854.7AA SHROUD, ENGINE, RIGHT, COVER Retail Price:$6.25, which is something entirely different. 7AA means Firebolt, and the Uly parts are 5AK (X) and 2AU (XP) |

Froggy, you're right. I did mean M0854.7AA (SHROUD, ENGINE, RIGHT, COVER). That's the part I ordered, which is different than the part number for the previous (non existent) right side engine shroud. I guess I'll find out if I ordered the right thing shortly. |

Unfortunately I don't get pictures or any other hints as to what anything is. My guess is that you ordered the thing that goes on the header. |

FWIW, I called Buell customer service today to ask if the 2010 LED tail light is a plug-n-play unit for previous years. The gal I talked to informed me that the electrical connectors on the 2010 model are different than the 2009 & earlier. I'd love to hear the report from 1324 on his findings when he gets the part. |

I ordered one for comparison shots. From the few pics I've seen it looks weak, but we will see. Gonna do a comparison shoot with -stock bulb -red bulb and clear lens -clear alternatives -XB Lights and any others that would like yo join :-) |

The 2010 bikes have a new wiring harness part number, but they also have a second O2 sensor, so I didn't think anything of it. Perhaps it uses the same connector as the Uly LED? Rah77777777777777, quit wasting time with this and get back to work on getting a Uly light in production |

even if the connections are different that doesent mean it cant be hard wired VERY easily. If it is same 3 wire set up ground,pos_run,POS_brake I would think anybody could do this no? |
