I spent a week down in Ormond last week and had the opportunity to go over to the Rossmeyer dealership area. I am very impressed by the customer service that my father-in-law and I received there, while walking around looking at all the new HD's, the customer service rep working in each department came up and chatted, friendly stuff, you know the kinda stuff that makes you come back. I must say that has been the very best HD complex I have ever been in. then of course the Buells are in a separate building adorned with all the things I would expect a good dealership to have, friendly staff, parts and gear in the store, and the beauty of Triumphs and Ducatis in the same store. I wish this was the way all Buells were sold, in a store surrounded by machines that were like it and a well trained staff to promote it. Hats off to you Rossmeyer ownership and staff, for making a memorable experience possible. |

First for me too... You say they moved buells out of the mega building? They're actually sharing space in the smaller with the imports.. |

yep, Buells in the front right, Truimphs in the middle and Ducs in the back. Leathers and boots with replacement parts for them, several different brands, clothing and accessories specific for each brand, and a pleasant atmosphere on the sales floor. Walking through the mega store, in each department, the sales staff came up and talked about anything from the weather to parts to bikes, a very enjoyable experience in both shops. It wasn't what I was wearing when I went into the mega store either cause it was Alpinestar swim trunks and a non HD tee shirt with a pair of Vans slip ons. If anyone is in the area, stop by and see if my trip was just a fluke... |

I bought my '09 1125 from them back in February and got a heck of a deal on it. Shelly Rossmeyer, Bruce's daughter, owns/runs the Buell, Triumph, and Ducati store, which is separate from the HD store. I talked with her several times, and she was incredibly nice and pleasant to work with. I'd give them my business again for sure. |

Someone on the Jacksonville motorcycle craigslist claims the online staff at Rossmeyer's are told to flag personal Harley ads because they're cutting into the dealership's profits. Strange claim. http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/mcy/1291610995. html |

back when the wife had her 01 ultra trike, had a problem with the gas leaking out of the tank through the valve. went to the dealer and although the insurance guy who was on hand said that it was covered the people there wouldn't take the bike in. left a very sour taste in my mouth. the bike could have caught fire because of it and they didn't care. sorry, you won't get no props from me for that stealership. we don't go over to daytona for anything anymore. i'd rather be in the mountains with the better people. |

Ramm, quiet this time of year, went with the in-laws and the kids and really just hung out on the beach and the pool. We went out to dinner one night, but mostly just hung around the condo, drank and chilled. Very relaxing. I got a good video of the water spout/ tornado that went down the beach last Friday, that was pretty cool. I'll post a link when I figure out how to do so. |

Floor traffic, sales and profits can be related directly to dealer attitude. The days of contempt, price gouging, and customer no-service are gone for H-D dealers- if they want to stay in business. I was so glad to see Buell move next door under Shelly's wing- she's a class act. I have purchased a Ducati, a Triumph and a Buell from her. |

Over the last several days I have been looking at this thread and wanting to comment................. Then I remember the old saying "If you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all" |
