I thinks theres a special mount for the cables that takes up the extra length? |

Youve got half of the answer already. Call Al at American Sport Bike. Problem solved. |

I'm running the HRS42 on my M2. The original M2 cable [and it was the correct unit, I bought it from Buell] was too long. I bought the adapter unit that Al has for sale but it wouldn't fit. The male end was too fat and the other end was too narrow so I had to stick it in my drill chuck and turned the oversized male end down to the correct OD. I then opened the female end up with a drill and Voila!, everything fit and the slop in my cable was gone! |
