First things first a few here were skeptical of the hp numbers i had originally posted. So with that said here is the proof! the bike at JTS performance.
Here is another shot of it out front of the shop
And the best part for last 112 rwhp!
I think terry has a printed graph chart for me as well. He put it in the box of old parts coming back with the bike. The bike is here and i can go get it at 8 a.m. Tomorrow is gonna be better than Christmas morning, finally its done. |

Nice numbers. If you want more power and gas mileage you can run Redline's Light Shockproof Tranny Oil. |

Congrats Russ. Was worth the wait. BTW, I don't think anyone was "skeptical" about the HP/TQ number. The number made sense. It was the engine speed and other details which you must have jotted down in a rush... Have fun with it but give it the respect that it demands... |

The motor is the 1250 iron lined aluminum NRHS hurricane big bore kit,Xl heads with the same porting as the xb heads then further porting to stage 2, Xb single beehive springs stainless 7mm valves with max head size, Screaming eagle .536 cams, force winder intake, super trap exhaust with 12 disks and open ended cap Custom built by NRHS-DAN Custom mapped and dyno tuned by JTS-performance Terry & JIM EDIT: I forgot to include the cams in the earlier post. Screaming eagle .536 cams Thank for catching that! (Message edited by preybird1 on July 23, 2009) |

Sweet Russ, glad to see you have your bike back. Don't forget to send a pic to Dan for his photo gallery on the site. To anyone who, like myself, thought it says X1 heads, he actually said XL with lowercase "L" lol. Maybe I'm the only one that thought that. Anyway, for ease of explanation Russ, you can just as easily call them XB heads. The only difference is that the XL heads are already drilled and tapped for head breathers/carb support bracket. |

Phelan, I thought is looked weird to. Yes they are the same and there is 2 reasons i used these. 1.xb heads were on back order. 2. I liked the fact that the XL heads are like you said pre-drilled for breather's, But i did the xb breather upgrade and I like the pre-drilled for the throttle body support bracket. Mike i wan't to ride it but the truck driver was late on delivery time and i missed the window for customer receiving of only 4 hours because of the driver and i couldn't get out of work in time to get it today!(You have seen how busy it can get at my work) At least the bike is here. I just sent dan the photo's this morning actually. |

Update: WOW! This bike absolutely Rips.I went for a couple of canyon rides and a couple high speed runs(80-145) and this bike is so smooth and fast it is like a different bike. I was at a stop light and a little sport bike came up. I thought i would give it a little gas but, I hit a small pot hole at the same time and holy crap it jumped into a big a$$ wheelie, Even with a blown rear shock! The top end power is amazing. From 3k-6900k it pulls so hard you really have to grip the tank with your legs to stay on it! Very happy with this bike Almost done next is the front fork spring kit and installing the works rear shock. Also a transmission build by zippers or the baker 6-speed. I like the 6 speed a lot and i have been outrun with a 6 speed so i think a 6 or a fresh built and back cut gear transmission. |

I would be really curious/interested to see what the "tuned" fuel maps look like. If you don't mind, could you sending me the msq files? No big deal if too much too ask. Thanks. |
