It is with a devastated heart that I must report the following awful news. Richard Nallin, a man who shunned mere existence, a man who always lived life to the fullest, died today as the result of a tragic motorcycle accident. I don't know any details. Those of us who knew Richard will always remember him for his upbeat take-no-prisoners positive attitude, both in racing and in life. He was and will always remain an inspiration to many. The relationship that Richard and his brother Brian shared was as close as two brothers could be. I cannot imagine the pain that Brian must be feeling right now. When more information is available, I'll post it. My thoughts and sincere condolences and prayers are for Brian and the entire Nallin family. |

Richard Nallin... Thanks for hanging with Allen and I when I came to town to visit the original Nallin Shop down in the Ghetto of Shreveport LA. Thanks for letting me run laps around your front lawn on the "hundirt" xr100 flattracker and not laughing at me. Thanks for being you. RIP Richard Nallin |

Thanks for the kind words. He would appreciate it and so do I. The man lived more in 36 years than some people do in a lifetime. I was lucky to just be a part of it. He was not just my brother. He was also my friend. He died riding his new 1125R, which by the way Immonabuss, he said was the best motorcycle he has ever owned, and was killed on impact and didn't suffer. Thanks again, Brian (Message edited by brian on July 26, 2009) |

Brian, I'm sincerely sorry for your loss. Please extend my most sincere condolences to the rest of your family. It seems that it was only a short while ago I gave him a ride to the SLC airport from the flats.... Unbelievable... Brad |
