I just received awful news. Richard Nallin died today as the result of a motorcycle accident. I don't know any details. Those of us who knew Richard will always remember him for his take-no-prisoners positive attitude, both in racing and in life. The relationship he and Brian shared was as close as two brothers could be. I cannot imagine the pain that Brian must be feeling right now. When more information is available, I'll post it. |

Gee, that is sad news. I too met Richard at Bonneville, my first time there. Great guy, always a positive thinker and doer, an ideal role model for anyone who aspires to go racing. |

That is horrible. He was so young. Such a good person. So sad. |

Does Anyone have the History of Brian and Richard back when they were Drag Racing S1's? I recall some other Racers accusing them of Cheating, so the S1 was sold to one of the other Racers, and the Nallin Boys built another one which ended up Quicker/Faster than the old one they'd been accused of cheating with. |

Brian is a genius with the engines. Richard could make Brians work shine. Richard was posting ET's that were incredible back in the 90's on a Buell. |

Bads1- The Nallin's did a lot for us with Buell Drag Racing and Bonneville, along with Sportsters also if I am not mistaken. That is why I had them do a Stage II kit for my S1 back in the Spring of 2000. The Engine is a monster and has run like a Nuclear Top ever since. For this reason again I ask if Anyone could/would tell more of these fine men. Brian who I dealt with could not have been nicer. If Richard was anything like Brian which it seems He was, then I missed the chance to meet another Good Guy. (Message edited by roadcouch98 on August 17, 2009) |
