So far, this really caught my eye:
It's the 2010 Uly. Note big right side scoop, 02 sensor on the front pipe (which very likely means dual 02 sensors now), heat shield on rear pipe, new turn signals, and blacked out triple clamps. |

Rear guard on the exhaust pipe, and no plastic deflectors between the seat and rail. Did they mention anything new about the motor? I do notice blacked out motor, including rocker boxes. |

That scoop is a LOT different that what the aftermarket is selling. Can you see the difference? |

Outstanding to finally have a second O2 sensor. I'm seeing an upgrade in the future of my 2009 Uly. But I wish they'd up-armor the wire! Easy enough to do during install for me though. (Message edited by blake on July 25, 2009) |

Wow, who woulda thunk it! Factory adds right side scoop after all the posts and threads from the factory saying it was not necessary. Would like to hear the new engineering spin on this change for 2010 |

I put a RSS of my own making on my ULY a year or so ago and my oil temps at the swing arm went up 30 degrees. My RSS looked much like that thing in the photo. I took it off. Everybody needs to take a chill pill and find out exactly what else might be different that now makes a "BUELL sanctioned RSS" a winner when before a RSS was a wiener. I'll tell you right now that they'd better have a few of these 2010's at Sturgis for demo's or I'll just shiite. (Message edited by electraglider_1997 on July 25, 2009) |

Hughlysses shows that the LSS scoop is different. AHA! |

I found my One Dollar RSS. Close to what they've done. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/142 838/363918.html?1213025619 |

Looks like $119.00 and now you can get fuel map optimized. Interesting.

Here's the revised left side scoop: The news brief on the 2010 models also mentions a "fan shroud" for the XBs. I've very interested to see whatever changes they've made in person. |

From Buell.....Both Ulysses models feature a new right-side air scoop, fan shroud, header shield, and ECM calibration that work together to improve rider comfort. Ulysses models receive an additional oxygen sensor with updated calibration for improved drivability and fuel pump that allows the cooling fan to run less. So it must be a pkg of parts you can buy for $119 for upgrading?? |

See "New Uly has a right side air scoop?" thread. we're in parallel universes here. |

I can't see anything from this view on a fan shroud.......it would be cool if they showed up in Sturgis

And they brought back the 2006 original seat as an option!

Hey! They stole my heat shield idea. I still like the chrome better (off a stock 03 Road King Custom):

Realize with tighter emissions the motor has to be run leaner, a second O2 sensor required to run tighter on emissions too. So where as in 06 engineering in East Troy may have focused on fuel rail issues and no need for an RSS, 2010 brings on different requirements, different solutions. |
