Always remember to use the latch on your Quest mount, otherwise you'll need another. Anybody know where I can get a Buell Quest head. Or even find a refurbished one.

I bought a reman Quest II off fleabay a while back. No Buell startup screen, no dealer preloads into POI...but the II has national streetlevel mapping instead of having to reload for every region. I think I paid $135 or so.

And yes, the I and II are identical as far as chassis/case/mounting goes. : )

Yep. Got my II off the 'bay, have it on my Uly using the brackets from the Buell Road Tech kit. Bracket, cradle, wiring - OEM install for a cheap GPS. Perfect : )

I got another cradle and Garmin "motorcycle" harness (requires splicing), and used an old HD FLH CB microphone bracket, to be able to use it on my S2. Third cradle - came with the QII - is a windshield mount that lives in our truck.

Thanks again, I'm still looking for a reman unit. Found a new one on Amazon but haven't seen anything on eBay. Been away from the net for a week (took the Uly from NorCal to Victoria, BC) Now I need a new fan !
