OK, so when I turn a gay guy down 90% press the issue even after I tell them I'm straight. Whoever said gay guys are more respectful must know a handful and doesn't go out to bars and clubs. It definatly isn't all gays that are overbearing but enough to get a stereotype (errr, earned reputation) |

I met a lesbian friend of a friend of my wife and I was quite reserved about talking to her, after a while I discovered she was into bikes and rode speedway in Liverpool (England) in her late teen with her father and brothers. after that icebreaker i discovered we had a lot in common ( yes I know, and we both like women) and we had some good conversations after that. I think she was more manly that me too. |

I frequented a bar up on Broadway (seattle) because I got free drinks, and it was a fun place to hang out where the guys actually didnt talk just about sports. Wore out my welcome when I asked why this place is always such a sausage fest? (hey drinking underage and coming from a small town, I had no idea there were gay bars) |

"Free drinks" for a male, in any bar, should have been your first clue !!!! |

Cityxslicker: Ha! That reminds me of my first trip to Provincetown, MA. I remember remarking to my buddy "what a nice place. The merchants sure do like rainbows, don't they? Maybe it's a Cape thing. Say... am I crazy or are there no women at all in this town?" Much laughter was had at my expense that afternoon. |

Funny about the gay bar thing. I live in a very liberal town and it is small. There are no gay bars and there are no straight bars. There is however a candy store two gay guys own called the "Chocolate Factory". How gay is that. So let me get this straight. Gays want the recognition of being different and "unique", evident in their "parades", yet, they say they want to be treated like regular folk. Look, I'm not anti gay. I think the same way as my lesbian Aunt though, rude flaming gay men are trash. |

Funny you should mention your lesbian Aunt and her attitude towards gay men. I've heard similar remarks from lesbians which I found curiously odd. |

I think lesbians are just more grounded, in general, to reality. Alot of times, and I'm not saying all, gay men are very horny all the time and think with their penis, as alot of straight men do. Lesbians are like any other woman and sex usually isn't on the forefront of their mind. I sand by my opinion, whereas gay men often aren't "born that way" but are merely just horny Mo Fo's. I do stress that I don't think all are like that. I have met some men that I know are gay to the core and those are the ones who are not flamers and take a mature position on many things in life. Unlike the "twinks", "Flamers", "Tranies" and whatever else there is. |

"I sand by my opinion, whereas gay men often aren't "born that way"" No they aren't. Most of them get sucked into it. |

Buellinachinashop, That's a FIAT Multipla, mpv. Seats 6, handles & drives really well. That one got sold earlier this year, 1.9 common rail turbo diesel, 115 bhp as standard, but had it remapped to 155. Fun to blow away gti's with a bus like that. Don't think you could call it gay though. |
