Oh yeah forgot to tell you all about this. It happened about a month an a half ago. My dad hit a deer this year on his V-star or should I say the deer hit him. They were riding on the coalfield expressway in WV and out came the deer. It hit his crash bar, him in the leg and my mom in the leg. The bike did nit even hardly move when they hit. Here are some pics. Jimmy Vengance is sweet.

FS Original Drummer Hey guys I wanted to see if anybody local wanted this before I put it up on the classifieds. Its in great shape, I put it on my 09XT and decided id go back to my stock pipe after an afternoon on the bike. The core was an XB12, but I don't know what model, just that the valve has been eliminated. $325 cash local, located in Suffolk |

Jason I would go ahead and do my bearings, you have the wheels off and Jim down at J&J will press the old ones out for you and even press the new ones back in. Technically you do not have to do it but might as well since the rims are off and they are not expensive. |

Dammit! I want that Drummer! But, as the story goes for so many right now, no fundage on hand. Neal, if you can hold out for a couple weeks, I should be able to scrape up the cash. If you find a buyer before then, let it go. I totally understand. |

It's coming along. I've been limited on my solo seat time for the past 3 weeks. I went to Cincinnati for a week and then it rained most everyday after I got home. Right now Carlee is in Puerto Rico for 2 weeks so we'd have to find a babysitter to go out. Maybe I just need to find a riding partner and leave Carlos home with the kids!! I have enjoyed it so far. I'm certainly not ready for high volume traffic or all out speeds. I'm perfectly content riding down the back country roads at 35-45! I'm probably driving Carlos crazy, but hey, he asked for it!! On a side note, Carlos and I did go to VA this past weekend and rode Saturday. We logged about 250 miles and had a great day of riding. |

Got the Blast today. Already rode it twice around the neighborhood and I'm already feeling more confident on it. Just gotta get the tags and title for it on Monday and get insurance set up and I will be ready for lots more riding. This is definitely a great beginner bike. The second time I rode it I noticed the speedometer wasn't working. Any advice? I'm pretty sure I can't ride it legally without it working so I need this done asap. |
