I was lucky enough to get Peter Kates to take me out a few times and get me going FAST!!!!

By the 3rd day I had my "FAST" going on and was passing ALOT of people in the yellow/Blue groups....

Eric, after buying this I am not sure I will be able to afford the track for a long time.

The bike needs some new pipes, but damn they are looking pretty pricey. It is all stock right now.

Yes I know you did. And that is a great offer Thanks again for that! Trying to get there last night or this morning to change tire wasn't gonna happen. Still wondering how my origional post yesterday about possibly going to CT on Sat and back, blew up into me backing out of a full trip to NY that I never said I could do in the first place?

IF I was to ride to CT on Sat what part? NY border too far.Closer maybe What time? You can give me s%#t for asking. I'M going to ride SaT somewhere it might as well be there.

Shawn...We were well into triple digits coming into turn one, how fast...I don't know really, fast enough to say "look thru the corner and not at the gauges!"

Going into the bowl we were in the 60's I would say. Just a guess.

By the 3rd day I had everything pretty solid with my entry speeds and line. The first day I was about 1/2 the speed of the 3rd, not as comfortable and had terrible body positioning.

I was lucky to have PK there showing me all I was doing wrong, tweaking my suspension any time I needed and pushing me all the way...

I can say there are some serious G-Forces on you in some of them corners, and it is amazing what a bike can "Really" do.... even though my brain was saying...NOOOOO WAAAAY is that going to happen!!!!

That's what insurance is for Shawn. just don't blame me if you get the crotch rocket bug, I think its going around. I was upset to let the Buell go till about a few hours ago when I went riding my new slut. I thought the Buell handled pretty good, but this thing made the Buell feel like a school bus filled with people. I can't believe how much of a monster this bike is. I have to say "Holy Brakes".... one finger is enough! (do not grab a hand full) I think I will be content with not doing anything to this bike for a little while to come.

Here is a good comparison I think...... same corner just different photographer. I am also caring a lot more speed in the second photo


This is day one.... stiff body position, not leaning off the bike, arms not bent, seated upright almost....Just poor form in general.






Here I am the last day. Much Better..Not Great but A LOT better and Faster!!!!! I also trust my bike much more...

Spdr I'm doing a ride on Sunday with a bunch of guys from work. we will be heading up to the Kanc and back down around the northern part of Winni and back to the Sunapee area. We will be meeting at the main parking lot at Mt Sunapee Resort Ski Area at 8:30 am on Sunday. Anyone is welcome if you arent headed to NYC for the big ride thingy come on up and hit the White Mtns.
