The safety bikes were supposed to be in action at Mid O this past weekend. The hoopla after the Laguna race prompted AMA to suspend safety car/bikes for that weekend until they had discussed the issues thoroughly and had a chance to work through the issues. If they have reached their conclusions by the time Topeka race rolls around, then there should be safety bikes on the track. If not, then the race following Topeka. | ||

The bikes are all ready to go, they and their impressive hauler were at mid Ohio. Just waiting for AMA to pull the trigger I guess. | ||

Don't think dealer show or new logo has much to do with it. AMA has been the ones putting it off, and the new logo is on the 1125rr and in my hands in the form of a few decals and patches courtesy of Taylor Knapps' team. |
