Does anyone else think the newer, understated, "Buell" lettering at that slight slant, as seen on the fairing of the new RR, and on EB's shirt in recent vid's, etc., is totally butt-kicking cool? I like it so much more than the oval logo. |

I may be wrong but I think that the "new" logo was actually one from way back. And yes it is much better. |

The new logo is a version of the pegasus, which was indeed one of the originals. Mobil Oil put the kibosh on the pegasus logo because it looked too much like their logo...but they seem to not care so much any more. Also, the logo is quite a bit different now than it was. I like it. I just hope that Buell has picked an image, and will stick with it instead of changing it again in the near future. Kawasaki is always green; Honda is always that red wing thing. Buell needs to find an image and stick with it. This logo is basic, clean, and should stand the test of time and fad. And it looks good on the back of my helmet |

I agree with Rat, pick something and stick with it dang it! I'm getting tired of sewing new patches on my jacket every time they change the logo. |

I like the oval myself. Anyone know if the decals are available yet? |

The new logo gets officially released/announced at the dealer show later this month. I'm sure decals, patches, shirts and other gear will follow in short order. |

The story I got was that it was created by one of the machining guys not a marketing person. |

I prefer the oval, but I'm not a big fan of either Pegasus logos. First symbol was fat and ugly, this ones too complicated. I think the logo should be lean yet simple. Something you'd want to doodle on your note pads while at work or in class. Instead I look like Napolean Dynamite drawing mythacal creatures. Kawasaki-Green lettering Honda-Red wing Suzuki-S in the cool font Ducati-the circle D Triumph-connected letters Harley-bar and shield Polaris-north star in the O Victory-winged V Yamaha-tuning fork star KTM-orange lettering MV agusta- fighter jet lettering aprilia-lions head bmw-prop circle chevrolet-bow tie thingie dodge-rams head ford- blue oval mercedes- tristar buick- triple shield cadillac-shield and wreath lincoln-northstar/cross hairs ferrari-horse lamorghini-bull buell- pretty winged horse that your daughter had in pink and purple on her backpack and bed sheets |

The new winged horse is more in line with the "original" one. I like the fat one. I like the one on the caliper on my S1. I like the new version. Now if I can find a good image of the new logo. I'm thinking the back side glass on my Libby could use some dressing up. |

The new winged horse is more in line with the "original" one. +1. It's also part of Erik's family history (an old crest) from what I understand. Methinks the pegasus will be around for a while I just wish they'd make it official so I can get my cards made. Grrrr.... |
