From the article-- In other Daytona SportBike results, Latus Motor’s Taylor Knapp qualified 12th, while Barnes, who was uninjured in his qualifying crash, will start right behind him in 13th. Bartel’s H-D/Higbee-racing.com’s Shawn Higbee will start 16th and James Pooler will start 40th. In American Superbike results, Taylor Knapp, riding the new Buell 1125RR in its competition debut, narrowly missed out making Friday’s Superpole, finishing 11th in the basic qualifying session. In Saturday’s final qualifying session, he was bumped to 12th on the grid by the Suzuki of David Anthony, and will start on the third row with a lap of1:26.810. |

I talked to a guy who had been in all the Buell pits this weekend. His company makes all the ecm's for the bikes. I was talking to him while watching DSB's podium and he was telling me that the 1125rr did exactly what they wanted. I guess it was having problems hooking up. And the Buell guys were very happy with it. Wish I could go back Sunday. |

Too bad Hacking's fuel pump relay went bad,....coulda been a real dogfight to the finish line. Not that I'd wish anything bad to another rider.... Way to go Danny! |

Hey Toona, do I need to get paddock passes to get that access? Never been to an AMA pro event. |

Cardenas crashed,Hayden and Hacking DNF'd with a mechanical. Three Championship contenders had issues or the outcome could of been different. But it wasn't. If these three finish without problems tomorrow the race will be a bigger battle. |

Badlions, yes, Paddock pass needed to get in to the pits. I believe tomorrow at either noon or 1:00, you can do a "grid walk" out in pit lane with all the bikes and crews right before the race!

Don't buy grandstand seats though. They may be good seats, but we haven't been in ours all weekend. |

I think it's awesome that Buell is not only winning but has such a presence in AMA. This can only be good for the Buell brand as far as recognition and hopefully a lot more respect. I know there are some Buell naysayers out there but that's normal of just about anything. I've been a Buell fan ever since the brand came out but never got to own one until 2004. Buell is a formidable machine and here to stay. I just wish they could break free of the HD brand. Don't get me wrong, I like a couple of the HD models, I just think that the two are like oil and water in the market and just don't really mix. I believe that Buell only dealerships or maybe a collaboration of Buell and the newly HD acquired MV Augusta dealerships makes more sense. Go Buell and "Slick", keep up the good work. my 2 cents |

What happened to hacking in the last few laps. he dropped to 2+ seconds behind slick. Or did slick just put the hammer down and leave him in his dust. |

Apparently Danny passed him on the inside of turn 7 on the last lap, and Hacking went wide. |
