Installed the RRC tail today. Well...installed mostly. Still need to hook up the rear brake line (need a smaller line) and figure out the seat latching mechanism. I can't get it to operate correctly today so I gave up and will revisit later. Still need to figure out the finish I will go with on the swingarm and I'll be done with the cosmetic stuff. The comes the good stuff. Posted a before and after pic.
I suck as a photographer. |

Cool beans. I think it would be a bit more noticeable if it was painted. Now all you gotta do is change your profile pic to match . |

Super nice. It looks like it must be lighter. I would paint it yellow, or match it to the swingarm. I guess it matches pretty good now. |

Thanks all - I have another swingarm that I plan to try to match to the tail piece and the finish on the front forks. Cant figure out the best route though. Smooth silver powdercoat or anodizing it silver. |

The rear brake reservoir that came with the kit has a smaller fitting for the fluid line. Anyone know if this line is under much pressure? I would like to be able to use the larger oem line and a clamp. If I change out the line to fit the new reservoir it will be too small to connect to the pedal end. |

No the resi is not under much pressure, be aware that brake fluid will destroy most finishes. |

Has anyone ever tried lowering the center of gravity on these?

yup.....you have to custom fab a longer shock bracket for the front of the rear shock. at one point somebody made them, but dont waste your time looking for one, just take it to a weld shop and have them make it longer |

good job Capital!!! you got it before me!!!! mine is ready but I'm waiting the triple trees to be ready and have all shipped together. I'd polish it (along with the swing arm) or paint it in black to match the frame... |

Prey - They are Crossroads pegs and they were on the bike when I bought it. I like them but I don't have anything to compare them too as I have never ridden with the stock pegs. |

Italian - Thanks. Can't wait to see your X1 after seeing the S1 and XB you did. What are your plans? Any sneak previews? |
