Without hesitation MV Agusta f4cc. I dream about this bike and all of it's 200 ponies. |

There's some good answers there but let's add to it. Also include what bike would take the place of your Buell. I know the common answer will be nothing but let's assume every Buell on the planet self destructed mission impossible style. What would you get to take it's place? |

Probably a Kawa Versys. Odd enough styling to keep me interested, dirt cheap, and comfy! ~SM |

I still want to build a TriTon. I've got the pre-unit triumph 650 motor-primary-tranny, but not the Norton Featherbed frame. At one point in my life I had the frame, but not the engine. Never have I owned both. I can only hope to find the motivation.
Other than that, I would seriously buy another Buell! The one I want next hasn't been built yet. It's a 750cc version of the 1125r, water cooled, rotax motored, 120 hp, 345 lbs dripping wet. |

V-Rod with mid controls. The 1125 gets an honorable mention. (Message edited by boltrider on July 16, 2009) |

Probably a Triumph Speed Triple, an air-cooled Ducati Monster variant, or an SV650. |

I should check the XBoard more often If I could I'd have 10 or more bikes (working on it!) including lots of old stuff. I have my "do everything" X1, so in reality my "perfect other bike" would be either: a) Something loud, obnoxious, uncomfortable, that handles and stops really well, is reasonably fast and a little unique, perfect for Duc hunting on sunday's and the occasional track day. Possible candidates include modded GSXR750, Triumph SpeedTriple with clip-ons, S1W, RR1200 replica, VFR400R, MV Agusta Brutale or F4, hot-rodded XB9R or 1125CR. Or I finally put a 4-stroke thumper engine in the RGV250 . b) *My* kind of touring bike for long distance and two-up work, such as a Uly or XB12SS, Yam XJR1300, Triumph Tiger, or 1125CR with upright bars... and then turn the X1 into bike a). If something happened to the X1? An 1125CR, an XB12SS, or a Uly, or another tuber. If there was no Buell? Triumph SpeedTriple, or maybe a Tiger, or any of the bikes above |

My perfect other bike would be the XT. But if it has to be non Buell, then I choose the Kawi Concours 14. |

Turbo Ruckus!! I think the only bike that could possibly REPLACE the Buell, would be an Aprilia Tuono. Owned the Falco and loved it, but too aggressive of a seating for me. The XB is that way also, but man does it handle! |

I'm thinkin' it would be a Duc Monster. But of course, I would have to spend a huge amount of time trying out every single possibility |

Anyone ever heard of the Yamaha MT-01. Ever since the debut of this bike, I have wondered why they don't bring it stateside. It is definitely a rival for the Buell!! |

Yamaha MT-01 That looks sweet but the exhaust looks like it makes for toasted buns. |
