Hey fellas. Just wanted you all to know that Archer has left the building, here at Republic. It all went down about 2 1/2 weeks ago. Pretty shitty if you ask me! He's over at Wildside customs right now. Thats the recent scoop but for those who are interested, or know someone interested, I'm gonna be posting alot of Buell acessories in the parts wanted section of this site, marked down considerably! As far as my x1 that was run over new years eve. Its being re-built right now. Damage not as bad as previously thought. I'll try to post pics. as the transformation progresses. This should be VERY interesting!! Take it easy guys, and keep that throttle open wide! Justin |

Hoot, the only x1s we have left is the radical paint, and a yellow one. But like I said we have the black set too. We have the front fender on the way, somehow it got lost. RR If we had 3 I'd sell em' to ya! They really want to get these outta here, to be frank i'll be sad to see them go! Justin |

Kinda short notice, but there's a small group leaving from the Luther's BBQ at Gessner & I-10 at 10:00 this morning. Two Road Kings and a Sportster, so it's a cruise thing, not a corner-carving thing. Plan is to ride to Round Top and have lunch at Royer's. I estimate we'll be there around 11:30-12:00. Join us at either end if you can! r-t

Update on the X1: Finally got the primary taken off. Had to saw the shift shaft off. We were able to salvage the Banke shifter(thank god!) Use an air chisle to get the cover off. Removed the tranny, everything checked out good, and square. Waiting on the parts. Looks like cosmetics is going to take the most time, but it should be up and running by the weekend. Anyone know of an aftermarket company, that makes really good dual projector beams, that I could throw on the x1?? Justin |

Justin, The new Lightning S has great dual projectors and is an easy cheap install plus you can get the bikini fairing which will fit perfectly. |
