ok, i searched and searched, i have yet to find a answer on it, i have a 09 xb12. i plan on running a muffler and a air filter, with the ecu be able to compassionate for those two mods? im not planing on doing the air box delete, so i don't know how much a k&n would change the air to much, again know theres tons of topics about this, but i haven't found one for the 08/09 bikes.

Your question isn't answerable as written. It depends on the muffler.
K&N? Go for it. Won't shift your fueling enough to notice. I wouldn't yank a perfectly good stock one out, but at first change, make the switch.

thanks Al. im looking at jardine for now, and a stock modded muffler in the future, i e-mailed your guys shop but got no reply on the tune. i know i need to buy the key for 250, then a tune is 400? |

I have the exact same bike as you and i just installed the drummer. lots of popping on decel so i believe a little tuning is in order. I'm considering the direct link.
I think any muffler is going to pop, but since these are louder you just hear it better. |
