In magic tricks & politics it is important to keep the viewers eyes on the hand not holding the ball. Basic. I do fail to see how a non existent program in the CIA that roughly equals bar talk in late 2001 has to be reported to congress unless they spent money on it. Even then, I appreciate that you can't trust any Congress critter with peoples lives, since they keep telling secrets that get people killed. I certainly wouldn't want the project to zap bad guys cars from space with high energy lasers revealed for some crummy pol's brief jump in popularity with a fickle press. Now that that's settled, I want to know how many of you still don't believe in Counter steering? | ||

They did spend money on it. Still, the law doesn't require reporting for non operational programs. The way I understand it, it was on again-off again for several years, they saw that it wasn't producing anything, and canceled it. This is a diversion. Cap and Trade and an onerous 1000 page health care bill are being rammed through while the media and the citizenry are distracted. I guess I can only hope that they read it this time. | ||
