hi guys, i just got a 09 xb12r, i traded it for my 08 nightster, im liking it thus far, got almost 500 miles on it now, ordered a jardine which im going to mod so i dont need to repack, and my buddy is going to make me a muffler out of my stocker, ill let you guys know how that turns out, other than that only mod ive done is drilled some more holes in my air box and descreened the air box cover and opened it up a lil more. plan on getting a air filter also hope my ECU can compensate for it with out a tune! heres a pic of when i got it home with 20 miles on it

i don't know how quote on this forum, but i live in Dublin, and 72SBC stands for my 72 chevy with a small block chevy as for the air box mods, all i did was take a drill with a 1 inch bit and drill some holes into the sides with no slots, then drilled a hole up front, now you can see the filter from the air scoop i figured that was better than trying to squeeze air threw that lil vent. |

gorgeous. i love the firebold (and 1125) in white. what made you trade the nighter for the buell? there was a discussion comparing the two bikes -- very different, both fun. |

my nightster was a really cool bike and i would have kept it if i didnt get the deal i got for my xb most likey, ive wanted a XB ever since they came out but couldnt afford it at the time, and insureance was high for me. as for the nightster it was a awesome looking bike, i dont think there was a day i rode it where i didnt get someone asking me a question or saying how its the only harley they like, i had the basic SE air filter/pipes/ecu on it, and it wasnt to bad, i could whoop on pretty much anything thing short of a v rod or a buell, and gave the lil 600's a hard time, but the ride was really choppy even with the softest settings on the bike, it just hurt my back to much on longer rides, and the fuell tank was so small, i could only get round 85-90 miles until the fuel light kicked on., also it was way to low, scraped on everything, didnt stop well, and couldnt turn for anything, but as far as looks, it was a awesome bike, a great round town bike, matter of fact my lil bro has one so if i ever get the urge i can still hop on one! but... basicly i traded my 08 nightser with 4k miles straight across for the 09 buell brand new so i couldnt resist!. here is a pick of the nightster
