Im sure this topic has been covered many times but Im trying to find a company that makes a windscreen for a M2 a couple inches taller than the factory installed one. Ive looked everywhere! No luck! Any ideas? |

Thanks. They appear to be temporarily unavailable. That might work but was thinking a 1 piece would be better. |

I had one on my GSXR. I blew off and was trashed in about 2 weeks. I know some here have made the one from Givi work on their bikes. |

I changed to a X1 screen initially because it was taller (I also am a big fan of asymmetry). |

I have a Givi A770. As you can see it comes almost to the top of the mirrors without being too huge. I gave different angles so you can see size. It has excellent mounting hardware and has upswept windshield. As long as you are centered it provides good air block.

Thanks Guell.. Hey Cylcone Duece I'd like to see a picture of your bike. It is not in your profile. Did you have to mutilate the rear with a sawzall to put and S1 tail on it? I can return mine to stock no damage by removing 3 sticky backed emblems and changing to Buell emblems in about 10 minutes. But I see alot of generic stuff like 80% of the bikes, Forcewinder, D&D etc on yours. Kinda like harley people all bolting on the same stuff. Hmmmm.. Though, I do wish I could have a werkes $hock. I have more hours in details than most people have in the life on a bike. Every piece of my bike had had me pay attention to it. I am proud. No one can ever say "I saw one just like it", good or bad.. I had done every upgrade I can think of that I wanted except Oil pump gear, that is next. I kept stock cams because that is the RPM I ride in, not higher like X1. Just my riding style. Here are a few pics of the way I bought it. I fell in love with it but how many of these have you seen. Mr. Wizard has my forcewinder. I have refurbished the rest to almost new. These bikes are I think reasonable to work on price and logistically.

Parabellum makes some interesting designs, the one for the Ducati GT1000 might fit. Or their Scout model, it comes with different heights of clear shield. see: parabellum.com They don't have anything for older buells, but some are kind of generic. |

Since Givi is a fairing and bag maker the quality is excellent. It is an easy mount. Eshardball has the same fairing after my recommendation. There is a thread going back a few months. I got lucky and got mine on Ebay for $85 shipped. They usually go for $225.00 plus shipping. Tinted is all they offer. Goto Givi website. There are other universal fairings that are there. I just liked this one and it was the only one that went under the headlight, (just cosmetic). I think the others are A550 and A650. (Message edited by dreadnaught1 on July 16, 2009) |

You are right on the money Dave. i paid almost $250 from Rollin Fast Cycles which is a Victory and Aprilla dealer. I have not seen another S1 that even looks remotely like mine. Details matter! |
