Unless someone knows how to do this otherwise... .... Man! that XB oil filter is small!... PS.. That's my new GT Convertable... Love it too... |

Buellers...I got the word yesterday...activated for up to 1-2 years..hopefully this will be short & sweet & I can get back to my bikes & such! Rocket..I'm coming your way early next week...I'll be at RAF Mildenhall initially...ping me Bro with a phone number...maybe we can hook up, maybe not! I'll be flying missions outa their into Jordan, Turkey, Oman, all those great Middle East locales for a bit. I briefly seen a few posts about the French & Germans...well we were flying out of Germany..they pulled back to England last week..I wonder if it's political or not...makes you go Hmmmm! Not sure how LSR racing will come out this year..it might happen..it might not...I'm certain the Firebolt owners are going after our Production Pushrod record anyway....be cool Buellers! Later, Dale A. LSR#1012 |

Dale: Will you have e-mail access? Please, as you pass overhead, keep your eyes out for long, flat places. Your deployment may work to our advantage. All the best, Court |

Godspeed Dale! Stay in touch if you can. Freyke, The Shockproof Heavy is a no-no in the Buell primary/trammy. The solids are known to collect around the clutch and even the stator. Even redline now recommends using their 20W50 in the Buell/Sportster tranny. |

Josh...I should be north of London about 40-50 miles if I remember right. I'll be arriving early next week...I think as of now! Not certain how long I'll be their...a year..a few month's a few weeks?? I'll be flying out of their on some "hauling" missions quite often. Court, I should be able to access email still...at least on occasion. Heck, we can connect to the Internet right from our Aircraft...we've done hotel reservations that way before! Your US tax dollars at work! Later all, Dale A. |

Freyke, I thought that *raging* debate ended when someone posted an email from Redline telling them to use the 20W50 instead of the shockproof. |

From the Odyssey motorcycle battery info at Absolute Battery, "Superior cranking and fast recharge capability: The cranking power of ODYSSEY® batteries is double to triple that of equally sized conventional batteries, even when the temperature is as low as -400F. Also, with standard motorcycle charging systems..." Geez, when you wake up and it is -400F, you can still go for a ride! John |

Quote:Longer storage life: Unlike conventional batteries that need to be recharged every six to twelve weeks, the ODYSSEY® battery will maintain up to 50% state of charge after 2 years if stored at room temperature (770F).At temperatures lower than 770F, storage times will be even longer.
ah, now I understand -- those are Canadian degrees. |

I think the person selling the wrench thinks it is from an "old" Buell: "You are bidding on Buell motorcycle adjustable wrench. This small adjustable moves well, jaw is in good condition and closes fully, will display well with your vintage bike." Picture is an air compressor? John (PMS & cabin fever) |

Freyke, No worries, leave it in until next scheduled change. Problems reported were due to long term build up of solids. |

Quote of the day from the "2003 Blizzard" WNBC News Anchor: "any advise for the homeless and folks who are without heat?" OEM Director: "Yes, they can log onto the OEM website..." I am having visions of a bunch of 802.11b Bluetooth enabled homeless downloading info on their e740 PDAs. Snowed in and staying in. I'll be in the basement playing Buell if anyone wants to come over.
