Looks really nice. Pics to follow tomorrow. I used the adapters made my precision engineering to put them on. |

Ditto on the pics. Nothing happens without proof. Besides, I was thinking of doing the same and would like to see it first. |

I wanna see! I wanna see!! I wanna see!!!! I've had thoughts about the CR clubs on an XB since the induction of the CR. Along with the pics could you disclose what the bars and adapter cost? Since the bars are from Buell and the adapter from a sponsor, I see no harm in disclosing price here. I just want know if this could be something that I could afford to do in the not so distant future. I can not wait to see those pics. I'm shaking with anticipation. (OK, maybe not shaking but I really do want to see it ) |

The CR's cafe bars, the CR screen and headlight assembly, is what I'm wanting to do. I've already got the R tail. |

It's even better than I imagined. Way freaking cool What I like about this setup over the Crossroads is that you can get to the preload adjusters. Thanks for posting pics |

I used the stock cables. The only catch on those were that I had to rotate the ignition switch such that the throttle cables were a straight shot into the control. The clutch cable was a lil tricky. I came up through the stock hole in the upper triple tree, but then routed it into the front fairing assembly through the same opening that the throttle cables come through. I then had to drill a hole in the side so that the cable lined up with the clutch lever. I purchased the hbars from another bwber and then the adapters from precision engineering. The adapters were 80 bux shipped. |

Looks good! I have the same adaptors... Been thinking about getting some bars that are a bit more sport oriented for a while... Have upright WIDE Pro Tapers right now. Hows the difference? I just hate to give up long distance comfort but a racier position might be fun. |

Very sanitary install. Congrats! I was wondering if you have a photo, or a link to the clamps. I would like to see how they look unmounted. Glitch - Your idea sounds awesome. Please do step by step photos when you go ahead. |

Yeah, step by step, with photos. Am I that talented/organized to pull that off? I'll give it a shot, and see what happens. |

Looks like they are considerably further forward over the stock setup. How's the feel? |

Hello, It LOOKS like those bars could be rotated up and back to give a completely different grip position. Is that right? Best wishes, Crash106 |

That's going to be the most popular retrofit at this years Buelltoberfest... first there was the Lighting-bolt now the "CRighting"! And yes, I am looking to do the same thing! |

Wait... So are the CR bars fat/clubman bars or is the adapter just for height? DOOM |

Doom, you have to convert from the 7/8" hole to 1" for the CR bars. those adapters do that. As a side effect they also increase the height of the clamp. |

Link to adapters: http://www.preeng.com/xcart/product.php?productid= 13&cat=5&page=1 Thulsadoom- Yes the CR bars are fat 1 1/8" bars. the adapters are for the size difference, but they also raise the bar about 1/2". Crash106- You can rotate the bars up and back, but that would change the grip angle to a poor fit.. Simple - Renthal bars are really close to the stock feel, but about half the rise of stock. I'm going to hold on to mine until I decided if I like the clubman or not. They are a bit more aggressive that I would like. Too bad there's not something in between. |
