Does anyone have definitive numbers for the production of the different models of the original Buell Motor Company? RR1000 50? RR1200 65?? RS1200 1989-90 twin disc, Marzocchi fork RS1200 '91-to the end, single disc, upside down fork RSS1200 single seater. Regards Gavin New Zealand |

Gavin, Try the search function for "production numbers". I think the information is there. |

By the way . . . the DANNY SULLIVAN bike was **A** special RR1200. I doubt it was the one in question which I suspect may have been a pre-HD proto of some sort. I can check build schedules. |

It might be interesting to figure out, just how many survivors there are. |

Thanks Court. It just seemed odd there were no RR's in '90/91/92, then they built just one in 93. I'm always curious about things like that I have seen a pic of the Danny Sullivan bike before, but assumed it was custom painted by the owner. It would be interesting how many RR1000's and 1200's are still around. I'm guessing quite a few are stashed away by collectors? I'd love to have a good look at one, one day. I'm guessing there aren't any in Australia, but when we take a trip to the U.S... |

It would be interesting how many RR1000's and 1200's are still around. Quite a few. Germany would be a good place to begin a search. If you want to see one while in the USA it's no problem. I can arrange that. |

Pardon my ignorance about the RS/RR series but, with all the body work around the air cooled engine, didn't it run kind of hot? |

I'm guessing I'd see an RR at Homecoming? For the last few years we've said we'd go to Homecoming "next year". Last year we got married, this year we've moved house and are in the middle of renovating/extending, so next year is either going to Homecoming or buying a Buell for Vamps... I'm going to do my best to do both There's something about the RR's that gets me... |

Jim Witt's RR1200 photos should show one with the left side fairing off and a fan showing. I have it on another computer, but don't know where the other computer is. |

>>>you think DANNY SULLIVAN still has that bike Court? Danny only had it a short time. Jim Witt had it for years and took excellent care of it. He advertised it for quite some time and it eventually sold. It's a gorgeous bike. If the fan was there, I **think** it was added but it'll be simple to check and see how it was built. |

I wasn't there at the beginning, so the fan was probably a later alteration. |
