Been to Sturgis twice ('95 & '07). Took the long scenic way. Rode and camped the whole time (4000 mile round trip). A few miles from the SD border I see a guy with his bike in the back of his truck and it's got Wyoming plates. WTF? The guy can't make it 100 miles? Better off selling it and getting a couch. | ||

Only time I have been to Sturgis I lived in Rapid City. I wasn't dare gonna hop on my bike during that cluster of a month. Saw way too much carnage and heard way too many stories. In fact, I don't know of many locals that ride a bunch during the event. | ||
