I'm selling my original Curacao Blue 1990 RS1200 Westwind. The bike has about 11, 300 miles on it and runs and rides great. The bike was freshened up by fellow Badwebber Hank Bunnik (onahog) prior to my purchase. I had some minor adjustments done in the spring by my local dealer and all is well. It's a real pleasure to ride and gets attention everywhere I ride it. The price is $8000CAN. Bad back forces sale. Pics can be seen on the thread below: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/476 23/459275.html |

>>>Damn that thing is beautiful, and the perfect color too. Darn right and the color is significant. That color was the "American" color for international sports car racing . . some may recall the Cobra . . and was selected to say "USA". |

I should add that the paint is original as is the coating on the frame. As such it's not perfect and has some patina which gives it character. Previous owner, Hank, was able to get copies of the original build sheets and I have a copy of the owners manual as well as all service manuals. When he was freshening things up, he installed brand new original heads, pistons and cam which were aftermarket when he received the bike. This bike has been updated in many ways but only with correct OEM parts. |

Only taxes I pay are on the value of the bike when it comes into New Zealand... 12.5% called GST "Goods and Services Tax" here in NZ. I guess you could call the Banks fees for money transfers a tax too! Gavin |
