I thought I had a rear fender but it appears the S2 fender is slightly different (mounting holes). I need a rear fender (NOT the carbin Fiber one that came on the 95 S2). I also need the lower belt guard. I can trade a carbin fiber rear fender that came off my most recent S2 purchase but it is after market (not the original Buell carbin fiber) and looks to have had a hole drilled for mounting purposes. I can send pics if anyone wants to trade. The fender must not be damaged. Dirty is ok, scratched up is not. Thanks, Frank |

Frank, I have this one. I don't know what it's off of other than a tuber. Matt

Matt, thanks for the offer. I would probably ruin it getting the paint off. The only way I can tell the difference is by the rubber strips on the side and the way the other side is cut. It is hard to do. It is like a early S2 front fender and a later front fender. It is impossible for me to tell unless I hold them. Frank |

All I have is the non-CF (Court knows the name....not Surlyn, but something like that), black texture hugger on my '95, and the aftermarket CF hugger from my S1W. If you find an OEM CF S2 hugger...I'll trade ya my black one for it. Unless there's some documentation somewhere showing my bike (1365) was built with a black hugger.... |

The teflon strip was an add on and not on the early S2's.. Listed as 47930-96Y in Buell Bytes #2 Sept 1995... The swingarm recall changed how the inner rear fenders mounted and some inner fenders were butchered by dealerships doing the recall to get them to mount... Alot of the lower belt guards are thrown out after having holes worn through by the belt.. |

Frank, Does your CF hugger have the belt guard cut down? My most recent one does and I don't like it. If you find a replacement, maybe we can deal for your current one. |

Frank, I think I've got the correct fender, but it's not pretty. I haven't looked closely enough to see if it's scratched. I'll take some pics tonight. |

I don't think this one will meet your needs...

Hmm...if Frank doesn't want it, I might be interested in it as a project. Is the CF in good shape, just the clearcoat/epoxy scuffed up? I see the nick at the leading edge there...but other than that? |

don't loose it. I'll take it if no one else does. |

I wasn't looking to get rid of it, but willing to trade Frank if it was a more correct match for his project. If I find myself with a pretty, incorrect, piece I'll shop this one here first! |

Ah, gotcha. No worries. I just have to live with my '95 having (apparently) a '96 rear fender on it....can't really see it with the bags on anyway. Not that I'm rationalizing, lol. |
